ОтветитьA great guitar player who write's songs!!!!
Ответитьthank you so much for this...
ОтветитьStumbled across this and love it.
ОтветитьI discovered Brett with the Reh video tape and it's been love at first sight with his incredible classy playing... got almost every of his album... solo, with TJ, Mojo Tapestry, Uncle Moe's etc....
ОтветитьExcellent interview, thank you! Glad that Bretto's getting more internet mileage these days
ОтветитьBrett a awesome guy met him in 96 plus a pioneer of hybridpicking that doesnt get enough credit;)
ОтветитьDelightful! So happy Brett is putting out his incredible content I've been waiting for this for a looong time man.
ОтветитьBrings back memories. Good interview Brett. I still have a copy of the magazine BTW.
ОтветитьWhat an absolutely interesting interview... I first saw Brett on TV back on the John Farnham tour while sitting in my bedroom in New Zealand. I'd never seen anybody shred before! Always my favourite guitarist. I even transcribed his solo from Hey Tee Bone (probably the wrong fingerings)!
ОтветитьIt takes me back to the Theatre Royal when you would play with your head down looking at the floor and doing these amazing things, and 3CCC days. I do have a claim to fame with you as we are on an album together. The 3CCC tapes and I am playing with the U Boys. I did'nt know anything about the album until I cought up with Rick and the guys at the New Market in Bgo and got a copy from Tony.Sadly that old pub is gone and now a child care centre. Anyway a great interview and all the best mate. Cheers
ОтветитьBrett seems such a down to earth humble guy
ОтветитьSince the first time I seen you in Black Dog, remains to this day no-one can ever sound like Brett, a true influence on my own guitar playing, I will never catch up.
ОтветитьGreat interview Luke. Would love to have heard about his work with Derek Sherinian.
ОтветитьGreat interview! My highlight as a student at GIT in 95-96 was open counseling with Brett and TJ, learned so much from just sitting in that room.
ОтветитьPhenomenal musician and insightful interview. 🙌🏼🎸🎶
ОтветитьBrett where one of my main influences when I started playing guitar.
ОтветитьThank you for the interview! Brett is my inspiration
ОтветитьMeet Brett at the Theatre Royal. Worked with his cousin, Andrew Garsed, night shift at the 'Pig Factory'. Introduced me to Brett ~88-89?
ОтветитьBesides the fact that Brett is a really genuine guy, he's definitely one of the most naturally talented players I've ever heard, if not the most talented player. Gorgeous phrasing, really nice loose timing without ever sounding stiff, unique phrases unlike anyone else's and generally a huge identity as a player. I've heard a lot of guys trying to sound like Brett too
ОтветитьThis is the same guy who was the lead guitarist for Nelson back in the 90s. Hope there’s a reunion with the twins.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing guitarist and gracious to the point of allowing me to record his cover band “Trousers” live at a Melbourne pub.
I gave Brett the finished cd at the Steve Vai gig and that was the last time I saw him play his Bogner XTC.
Vai stood in the wings with his jaw on the ground just staring at Brett for most of his set.
He also got me into the Melbourne guitar show where he introduced me to Andy Marshall from THD and let me film his workshop clinic too.
I’ve been a fan since day one and will always be in Brett’s debt for every note he allowed me to hear and get blown away by over the last 40 years.🎸
Absolute LEGEND.
Fantastic interview. He seems like a great guy as well!
ОтветитьGreat interview sir!
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic talk. Thanks!
ОтветитьAmazing interview, very interesting questions and very insightful answers!
ОтветитьAmazing talent…. The best are the most humble. I went to MI the first year TJ was there. The two of them together is the best guitar playing the world has ever seen.
ОтветитьThank you for this luke and brett!
