I think the best way to get music finished that you mentioned was setting aside time to do it and not changing it for anybody. I know that for me, if I don't set aside time then it never happens and when I do I look forward to it.

Start and idea an till the arrangement isnt finish, you dont get up from the chair, later on, you can wait till the next day to mix and master, done! 2 days, 1 track

Really quality tips here, thank you for sharing! I have a question regarding mixing stage. When you finish your production stage do you export all stems from all track (with some effects on) to a new project that has no effects for any track and then you apply some EQ or Compression, later making submixes etc. ?

Really loving your content lately Will! I've been using a web-based app thingy called Zenkit lately - no affiliation whatsoever, just kinda picked it a couple of weeks ago and got into it - it's one of those project management apps that I can stick ALL the details of the tracks I'm working on into, set all my to-dos in one place, write my lyrics and production notes into etc.

I was trying to get organised between a pencil and notebook, notes in Logic Pro, a spreadsheet and notes or whatever 10 different apps there are in OSX... just a hundred friggin layers of complexity between being organised and actually getting it done. Anyway, productivity now is more focused and kinda works for my brain having everything on the screen, and most importantly in one place. I'm aiming to finish 8 or 10 tracks by the end of January so let's see if it works!
