It’s a great documentary and an awesome place to travel to, but it’s seems a long way to go to find a so-called Bible relic without having first researched anything in the Bible. The Bible does not say that Ark was “given to Moses by God”, nor did Mosses “bring the Ark down from Mt Sinai”. I understand that David is a photojournalist and documentary film maker and a self confessed skeptic, but it would have only taken an hour or so of research to read the what the Bible actually says about the Ark.

And now I have to find out why they celebrate Christ if the son of the Queen of Saba was fathered by Salomon! When they went back to Ethiopia Jesus wasn't born yet! When they accepted Jesus as the Messiah! And I am not doubting, I am just wondering just as I wondered when I was an eight years old kid, with whom Cain married if the first man and women only had him and Abel?

I find it comical when people are amazed that 3rd world countries still do things the same way as they did hundreds or thousands of years ago. Nothing changes because the predominantly white countries don't share money or technology.

Everyone claims to have the ark yet no one presents proof. I doubt it's a religious item. Probably something they didn't understand so they called it godly just like many other times and items.

As an Ethiopian Christian, I want to make clear that the tablets we have today are not the same as the ones from the Old Testament. The new testament "tablet" is made differently. It's called by the same name ("tablet") but its purpose and how it's made are different. It doesn't have the 10 commandments written on it. It is venerated because it is on it that the Holy Communion is put during the holy liturgy.

(coming back from Israel) to Christianity..
When the Romans stormed Jerusalem in 70 ad,
he must have taken the Arch of the Covenant. to Ethiopia.
Recently, 800 Ethiopian Orthodox Christians were massacred
while protecting this Church from demolition.
