As someone who frequently drives across the bridge from Kentucky to Ohio, I am beyond thrilled about the new bridge and repairs to the old bridge. It's been scary to drive that route for years.

A lot of these designs arent very nice. Based on what you show in the video i wouldnt want a single one of these ugly structures in any of the cities by me.

as for the springe bridge. there was also recently a fire that caused significant damage to the upper deck. caused by a truck accident. double decker and flamables/hazmats do NOT mix. as for keeping the old brdige for local traffic. its honestly not needed. there are currently 2 bridges dedicated for that. tyler southgate and clay wade, both pretty low/mid traffic unless something is horrifically wrong with the highway. it would just be another maintance expense for the locals that isn't needed. there is also the roebling. but thats more of a shelf peace than something that should be used regularly. i wouldn't rely on it for every day travel as its frequently closed for maintance.

I know it sounds boring since it has been built on-time with private funds, but the beautiful Brightline high speed rail line linking Miami and Orlando (the Miami - West Palm Beach portion is already open) will be open by September 1 of this year. It was built on budget for 1.75 Billion -- with no taxpayer money.

I know. Rather than adding another $70 million bridge across the Ohio River to carry twice as many vehicles, let's build one that costs billions of dollars to accomplish the same task! Obamanomics says that we can just print all of the money without any negative consequences! While desperately poor China opens a city for a million people every week, and builds tens of thousands of kilometers ot high-speed rail, America spends as much on destroying and rebuilding some stupid sports stadium. Because it's only money, right? Let's make sure that White people pay for it before they're driven extinct!

Far superior is gravity fed ocean water into Salton Sea, Death Valley, Laguna Salada or Qattara Depression to increase monsoonal moisture in dry desert sand. Here in California the Agess Inc project is worth further video coverage that can be expanded worldwide as the hot desert rapidly expands.
