Remembering their tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1964 and journalist Blanche D'Alpujet's opinion of the Beatles: "Don't be fooled by cuddly mop tops, they were hard, hard, Northern men"
ОтветитьThe bowing still gets me!
ОтветитьWas this group created the Tavistock Institute to further a deep state agenda? SO many were severely taken over by this group, I wonder what was the true purpose of them existing. I grew up just outside the this group being popular - thankfully. Its seems the more you investigate anything these days, the darker it gets, sadly
ОтветитьWhy tf they screaming so much? Let the lads sing ffs!
ОтветитьJust KILLER! These guys were so much more than the sum of their parts. Whatever chemistry they had has never been equalled. There were more accomplished individual musicians around at the time, just not better music.
ОтветитьI alwas though they played better like this with no Guitars plugged in and miming.
ОтветитьAmazing ❤
ОтветитьThis was Melbourne, Australia, 1964. It was recorded for Television broadcast in Australia. Good sound equipment was used, therefore they could be heard above the non-stop audience screaming.
ОтветитьWow-what a wonderful experience! Good for you!
ОтветитьI love their early songs the best!
ОтветитьAll of the original British releases of Beatles albums up to and including Sgt. Peppers were mixed down from three-track tape masters to mono. The last few Beatles albums were released in mono and stereo. Supposedly, it was not possible to get a proper stereo sound field out of the early three-track masters. The U.S. Capitol Records releases were remixed to stereo without the Beatles' participation, because the "stereo" releases could be sold for a dollar more.
ОтветитьBack then, it was magic! They couldn’t do anything wrong. By far the best band ever!
ОтветитьI was in highschool when this band was so hot and until now in my age 71 i've always played their songs so memorable and so nice to hear ,i luv it.
ОтветитьWe luv their song very much
ОтветитьGreat❤
ОтветитьAwsom.end.ess🎉🎉🎉😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊❤
Ответитьit's just a shame what fame did to them....
ОтветитьExcellent! Bk when water cups/bottles were not around or seen. No modern day pacifier/water bottles, or cell phones. They chewed gum - cool in '60s.
ОтветитьWhen I was a kid I was a Stones fan due to my older brother's influence. Back in the 60's you were either a Beatles fan or a Stones fan. No in between. But luckily I have an older sister that was a Beatles fan and by the time Revolver and Rubber Soul came out and I could hear those songs coming from my sister's room I realized just how friggin good the Beatles really were. Those voices, the harmonies, the songs... Just floored me. I was and still am in the Stones camp (I mean I wanted to be Keith Richards since I was 6 in 1964) but to me John Lennon has the greatest rock n roll voice of all time. And Paul McCartney is probably the best bass player ever if not one of the greatest all around musicians of all time. As a teenager I would still argue with my Beatles friends about the Stones vs Beatles but I knew deep inside how great they really were. I just couldn't admit that to my Stones friends at the time. But I remember the first time I heard songs like Ticket To Ride, Your Bird Can Sing... and there was no denying the genius that was the Beatles and George Martin. I still can't believe to this day that I missed the Beatles on Ed Sullivan because my older brother made my brother Trebor and me boycott the Beatles that night because he said no true Stones fan would watch the Beatles. So instead we sat on the front stoop and sang Stones songs. Again I thank my older sister for turning me on to the Beatles and not minding when I borrowed her Beatles and Motown records of which I still have some of those 45's to this day. And no she's not getting them back...
ОтветитьMy heart beats with the Beatles! I am lucky to be born long ago to meet these waves of pure happiness and Love!
Ответитьwe look back fondly but really, it was pretty rough in a bunch of ways. big divide between the haves and have nots. most of us were have nots.
Ответитьthis one is just bad
ОтветитьI used to listen to the Beatles when I lived in London over the pirate radio station Radio Caroline. The BBC didn't broadcast any Rock. When Caroline went off the air in the evening we would switch over to Radio Luxemburg which came in on AM........... Ah ! the memories......
ОтветитьMy first...rock and roll, wanna hold your hand and then got a peak on Ed Sullivan. I was only 5 but knew it was going to be great. Love them Beatles😊
ОтветитьAmazing... they were so well rehearsed & dialed in at this point. A band is only as good as its worst musician & they all were outstanding.
ОтветитьThis is so outstanding!!
Ответитьwherever and whenever it was
ОтветитьAnd those haircuts…the old guys just couldn’t get it
ОтветитьAt 13..it was magical.. can’t explain.. but we were going crazy with that sound..loved and still do at 74
ОтветитьThey never copied themselves. Every album an incredible eye-opener and their group mojo was INSANE. They inaugurated the rock musician as seeker, visionary, and evolving force.
ОтветитьAnd some people have said Lennon wasn’t a rock and roll singer. Shake It Up Baby!
ОтветитьI as at this concert at The Washington Center in Gaithersburg MD 1962 !! John played a great lead on the first song but they have the cameras on Paul & George LOL !!
ОтветитьI saw the Beatles live at the Hollywood Bowl in 1965. I was 16, and a huge Beatles fan but I was shocked at how good they were live. I learned and played dozens of their songs for many years. I put them away for a while. They’d lost some that freshness for me, but in the past year I’ve been listening again. This has to be one of the finest live videos ever. You can actually hear the harmonies better than some recordings. Thanks for making an old man happy!
ОтветитьLucky us to experience Beatlemania
ОтветитьI was born in 1976 as a love child and I feel so incredibly grateful that I chose an amazing mother and best friend who adored The Beatles❤ outta time in the timelessness of wonder and fuckin radical magical music 🌟
Ответитьincredible ..... electrifying performance. Its no wonder they conquered.
ОтветитьGood morning beautiful people 😘
ОтветитьI 😘 ve youUncle Victor ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI was 8 years old when the Beatles hit America.
I am the luckiest person alive to have had the Beatles my first pop, rock experience.
Obviously I'm older now and I have experienced unbelievable volumes of all kinds of music.
But these folks were and are the best.....
Does anyone know WHEN and WHERE this concert took place. I'd sure enjoy knowing. FAN-DAMN-TASTIC!!!
ОтветитьWhere's Ringo on She Loves You???? I hear drums. But no Ringo.
ОтветитьI was 13 when my father drove myself and my friend Kathy to the Beatles concert at the Boston Gardens. My poor dad must have been petrified to allow me to go in there without him while he waited in the parking lot. The screams were so loud you couldn’t hear a single word. That and Woodstock were 2 of my finest moments.
ОтветитьUn Milagro.
ОтветитьJohn's guitar is too loud from this vantage point, you barely hear the lead guitar and bass
ОтветитьNo dance routines needed ❤
Ответитьwhy cant i see ringo in She loves you?
