What if I have an enclosed setup, also why the hell would I want all the RGB crap? It's so bright and annoying, and honestly useless, no thanks, uses extra electricity, that's all it does
ОтветитьThanks man! I saw another bending tutorial which look so intimidating and difficult achieve. You explain why and how to do things and you're tutorial is less "intimidating" or challenging!
ОтветитьI’m going to be upgrading my eight-year-old PC system this year because it’s starting to show its age even though it has a 2080 TI. I’m gonna be upgrading the system to either of 4090 or a 5000 series card. But the new Intel CPU is what’s going to be the CPU and then I’m gonna have 64 GB of ram so I can run virtual machines. I do a lot of photo editing with Apple products, so I’m gonna be running the Apple operating system and then I’m also also gonna be running my Server with Linux, so it would be nice for my main system to be able to access the server.
ОтветитьI've been considering water cooling for my pc and this video has made it an easy decision for me... Also... WHAT RAM CARDS ARE THOSE?! i love the blocky transition effect 0.0
ОтветитьI love the references back to a vehicles cooling system. It is ridiculously similar, and you absolutely nailed it with the comments on temperature difference. Engines prefer around a 180° F running temp. Nothing like that in a PC lol
ОтветитьI dont think is a good ideea to run tubs from gpu to cpu without radiator between. Water go hot from gpu so will not cooldown proper ur cpu.👍 That's all 🥂
ОтветитьSo pointless to install a water cooling on a PC.
ОтветитьCustom loop keeps me alive otherwise im gonna do suicide ,because pc custom loops is important than my family😢😢 they dont give me money or loan they dont care me, i just try get job but answer always no
ОтветитьCan u send me soft tube custom loop pls im poor and i got but my loop is bad pump and looptank is like fucked up
ОтветитьYou need to get fans push situision 😊 it keeps better cooler the rad by the way
ОтветитьHi I am new to building computers
I have done various research on different things were you side do a test run can you do a pressure test with a pressure test gauge before filling it up at all once again brilliant video waiting for your reply many thanks
I love to see people with alot of money put expensive computers while having everything they need. It relaxes me :)
ОтветитьTell me I have this right:
Reservoir to radiator(side) to GPU to CPU to radiator(top) to reservoir
Is it okay that the gpu immediately goes to cpu? Like all that hot water from the gpu goes to the cpu before cooling? Seems like the 2 radiators are overkill if the hottest things are right next to eachothet
Don't forget to bring a towel
ОтветитьThat PC needs an icy blue Motherboard.
For the poor joe:
If you can't afford a complete water cooling system ; assemble your computer ,test it, go buy a fish tank grab Mineral oil and drop the whole setup in the fish tank and then fill it, with mineral oil ....you should not do it but it works ....
If you want to upgrade your system well that's another story 😅😅
wheres the link for the tools
ОтветитьLol. You didn't say what CPU or GPU you were using, so I assume it's a Pentium 4.
ОтветитьI am currently planning a workstation build with custom water cooling, as my previous PC only had an AIO, there are quite some knowns I am learning from here. Still want to find someone doing a successful build in the case I am looking at first - but I am having trouble to plan some stuff like radiator and pump orientation as this workstation might be used in multiple orientations.
ОтветитьI like it but why you rip the ram out like that?
Ответитьthe way you uninstalled the ram is infuriating lol
ОтветитьThe Amazon links for the parts list don't work
Ответить... but y u no cool VRM...?
Ответитьi always enjoy your vids, good job
Ответитьso question. If you were to replace a part say because of an upgrade or a break, would you have to drain the entire system in order for you to do so?
ОтветитьHeh :) i just copied the loop and successfully did my first custom water loop. Thanks Jay
Ответить@JayzTwoCents I have a question I see you could watercool your motherboard . Wouldn’t it been better to have it watercooled to ? So it’s no problem for not watercooling it ?
ОтветитьPOV: he pulls out the ram without removing the clips. Me taking 10 seconds to remove the stick of ram because if I break one I’m in deeper debt
ОтветитьIn my case I like to dream about mounting an AIO, but I want to mount and the only place I can mount a AIO is horizontally on the side behind the cover/lid (Jonsbo V4, why, because..) which makes a radiator a little lower then the CPU. Point, just practice my spelling... Edit... I think a horizontal mounted AIO with the pump on the radiator should work, even thou the CPU is higher then radiator any air should build up in the top of the radiator has long has where the tube is connected to the pump isn't at the highest point on the radiator and no air should get into the tube going to the CPU and if any does hopefully the pump can stuck the air through the tubes... Solution.
ОтветитьAs a guy who works around testing pipes that can literally kill someone or not, imma throw a pressure test in it first 😂
Ответитьno vertical gpu mount is a crime
Ответитьfor perfect 90s, use a square
Ответитьlinks for amazon just take you to the home page
ОтветитьAnother tip from me: surfactant.
If you've got microbubbles that you can't shift, try a few drops of triethanolamine (very cheap - the active ingredient in automotive "water-wetter"); all your bubbles will magically condense into one, which you can easily "tilt-out"👍🏻
how is this video not "complex" lol. just gonna pay for a pre built lmao
ОтветитьI do not understand how to make the pump flow the water in the tubes. Is the pump directly connected to the PSU?
Imo, this is not a beginner guide. You time-skip too much. Seeing how and what you do to bend certain tubes and showing how to install would have been nice.
This shit is like algebra. You need to know basics to even start and comprehend the ending product. I cant even get to this point yet i got to figure it out wayy more before i can even TRY this shit....There is just so much more that goes into to this 😔
ОтветитьWould love to see another alpha cool video from you! Last one I saw in my search was 9 years ago, unless I missed one. Appreciate the work you do! 🤙
ОтветитьRIP EVGA <3
ОтветитьBeen seeing that color fluid causes corrosion is this true.
ОтветитьYou could use air pump for checking if there leaks of a water
ОтветитьJay... water absorbs red light which is why Ice is blue. Also about that RTX 3090, I'd use a GPU cooler with an active backplane.
Ответитьcan i leave everything on the motherboard when i put the jumper on the 24pin? or do i have to disconnect the gpu and fans etc?
ОтветитьHow are you using white dominator ram with AMD? To my understanding those are only for intel…😅 I’m new to pc building
Ответитьi have a questions, is it important for a custom loop to have the "water entry point" of a radiator ion the bottom ?
ОтветитьWhat on Earth is a "Hot minute"?
ОтветитьVery interesting video, however I did find one piece of information missing, which is: what if the loop leaks? What steps would I take (and in which order) to solve the problem?
ОтветитьThis is too much work
ОтветитьAppreciate the video man! Just finishing my first loop build and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come back to this video throughout the process.
ОтветитьBtw acrylic and PMMA are both short for poly methyl methacrylate
Ответить
