Still no mamoth
ОтветитьYou would think we would have them by now.
ОтветитьIt's about to be 2023... where are our woolley mammoths?!
ОтветитьNever going to happen
Ответитьhendrik poinar
Ответить2021 and no mammoth yet.
ОтветитьLet's have mammoths at the ConFurry.
ОтветитьThis is 2021
ОтветитьIt would be good to see them but it sorta sucks because deaths involved and all
Ответить2020 still no wooly mammoth :(
ОтветитьVery hopeful for this project
ОтветитьWow this was all bluffing
ОтветитьI believe if not for humens wooly mammoth would still be alive so id bring it back
ОтветитьHey, everyone shut up about how they don’t already have a mammoth. These projects are not getting funded properly because people like you want things to come instantly because you are all spoiled rotten.
ОтветитьHendrik is handsome
ОтветитьDont you ever ask why such large beasts were quick-frozen?
ОтветитьWhen? It looks like they just want to make us dream, like for the moon.
ОтветитьI'm 50, I don't have much time left. JUST DO IT!
Ответитьf the mammoth. clone a chicken with 8 drum sticks.
ОтветитьCan I haz Dodo ples?
ОтветитьActual wisdom in a genetic scientist, There's yet hope! :)
Chapeau!
it's 2019 and where is your wooly mammoth?
Ответитьbring back the lonesome George
ОтветитьOh dear. When ever I hear this sort of project being proposed, I can't help thinking that people don't really care that much for living animals let alone extinct ones. It seems all a bit Jurassic park to me.
ОтветитьLIES!
ОтветитьJust bc we can.... doesnt mean we should
Ответитьdo it
ОтветитьJerry lewis!
ОтветитьThe question would be, why? I believe they went extinct because of natural selection. What if there is some kind of ancient virus hiding deep within the proteins of its stagnant dna? What if you unearth something that should have stayed buried. Idk sounds interesting though and fun to imagine, but I’m glad they are considering the ramifications.
ОтветитьWhy would anyone want to bring back a animal that flourished during the last ice age, when the world is growing warmer? It would be like expecting the polar bear to do well in Florida!!! Bad idea... just because we can do something doesn't mean we should...we could launch nuclear weapons to eliminate humans and wildlife might do better without us humans as evident in Russia around Chernobyl. So bringing back the woolly Mammoth is more about doing something to just to see if we can... Dumb idea!! Try the dodo bird, white rhino or passenger pigeon...before we bring back long extinct animals we should try to save the ones that are struggling to survive in today's world!! However, if we trigger another ice age...!?!?
Ответитьactually stop talking "actually"
Ответитьобязательно делать, нам нужно это животное в сибири!
Ответить<3
ОтветитьJust do it. It can't harm anyone
ОтветитьWhy they can't tell the fact that they are frauds how can a genetically modified elephant become mammoth? Technology is only allowing this much
ОтветитьGood idea but they will kill us without any suggestions
ОтветитьThere's no reason to actually do this. You won't learn anything about those extinct animals; you'll learn only about a modern-day facsimile.
Ответить"Where would we put it?" In a cage, if someone spends millions in recreating a mammoth they would put it in a cage and try to make profit with it.
Ответить6
ОтветитьThis would be so cool and i think if you get a reptile and a bird you just might get a dinosaur
ОтветитьBuild it!!!
ОтветитьDo you really believe that high school student's projects lead the way in this technology? Why would he not mention serious research successes? If it does not concern you that he did not report the latest research from the top universities and military labs then pause-- consider the implications. People discuss openly what they know is acceptable to sentient, moral people.
ОтветитьSorry, woolly mammoth, but I'm pretty sure we were really hungry. However, we probably won't be eating you within the first few years, this time...
ОтветитьOne question. Why ?
ОтветитьDont. Poachers will get them. We already need to save elephants
ОтветитьVery nice lecture on elephants. They even covered Motty the Asian/African hybrid. He was stuffed and sent to the Natural History Museum to be displayed. This didn't happen and he is still squirrelled away behind the scenes. I had to read a follow up in the Fortean Times to find this out. Unfotrtunatley Motty died of a lung infection when only a few days old. I was working at the Giraffe House at the time, so can be classed as an eye witness.
