I can’t believe I’ve watched almost the entire video and none of them have done anything s*xual. Every documentary I’ve seen with these guys (I love most primates and pretty much every type of animal and nature documentary so there have been tons) that’s basically all they do. And if there’s a whole group like this you best believe there’s action going on between at least a few if not an all out or*y. They use s*x for everything. “Hello” and “Sorry”, to celebrate good moods, to get rid of tension, settle disagreements, show love to their friends and family (including their own little kids), it’s almost as common as breathing for them. So how did I just watch 20 minutes and see ZERO p*netration (g*nital or o*al)??? I have to assume it has to do with captivity. They’re totally carefree and display zero self consciousness normally but maybe it is because in the jungle there’s not a bunch of loud and obnoxious humans gathered around them.

It is sad that thier locked up like this. How boring thier lives must get unless they have other enclosures for them. They look very human like so when you watch them you can almost sense what they must be thinking

Boy they look a lot different than the regular chimpanzees I think they look more like humans but they look so bored they need some enrichment out there a honeymound with the sticks or something. I thought they're supposed to be loving chimps that one seems to pick on that other one a lot

They starving these joints in Jacksonville ! They skinny as all get out. While these animals are not usually fat they are muscular thick! They need more food!

The big male primate, looks like he was crossbred with a common chimpanzee and more aggressive than a bonobo. Bonobos are way more docile.

Is it true, now people dont want ape research intelligent anymore? They focus more rehabilitation or release in to wild. Even the famous kanzi bonobo research has been stop so we never known full potential of the results
