Ben did one of the dumbest things I have seen. Why did he join his sons who were penned down. He could have gone to a better location and had success.

One of my favorite episodes. Ben gets even better as he ages. I am enjoying watching Bonanza as much or more now than when they were first on. Thanks so much for sharing these.

So many in poverty. The story goes. Ben Cartwright was a proud humble man. Who never took from anyone, worked for his dream and helped everyone in his path, while raising 3 sons to do the same. Well educated and so were his sons. The show was a fine example of morals and values and work ethic

Am a filipina and it's been 6 years since I stumbled into this series I keep watching again and again tell at present I love ❤ 😍 and enjoy watching bonanza I like pretty much Adam well, I love them all the cartwrights and I like the way Hoss said to Adam "what did we say Adam " it's so graceful before I go to sleep I have to watch them bonanza

I never realized when I was watching this show for the first time how wealthy those Cartwright's actually were. Does anyone need a thousand square miles of Land and 100,000-plus cattle???? Somehow I don't think even a sea-captain make that much money 💰💰

I'm a poor guy on disability, but I'm not envious of anyone who is lucky enough to be rich! Especially people who work hard their whole lives for what they have and help anyone less fortunate that needs it! I'm not talking about "handouts" , I'm talking about "handups"! I know this is "make-believe " but for someone to steal from someone just because they rich and then turn around and try to kill the people who were the "victims" is just "twisted"!

This episode did not go down well with me. Ben and the older rustler trade punches, have some sons shot up, and make up among laughs in the end. Really had to quell my disbelief!

This one is so much better than the last one. I enjoyed this one way more, The last one was riddled with over the top sillyness that wasn't even very funny mostly

It seems no one in this episode could shoot at all. The amount of times people had a dead lock on someone and all the time to pull the trigger and still missed completely or just winged their target is pretty crazy.

Unreal script. The Cartwrights should have thrown this scum of the earth from their land as soon as build the house on Ponderosa property.

Another great episode. The only thing that's got me scratching my chin is how the shiftless, cattle rustling, land grabbing Josh made the transition to heroic family man. He sure started off mean as a bull, launching a totally unprovoked attack on Ben Cartwright at the start. As always Ben is such a fine man. Good fun. It's amazing how much this series has become a part of my lonely life. Cant wait to get back home to watch the next episode.
