Finally watched all the Star wars movies. I love Chewie! He's strong, loyal, not afraid to be vulnerable, though he has trouble regulating his emotions, he's extremely transparent. I'm officially a Chewette!

I think the Chewbacca rising from the snow trenches of Hoth is his best face.
Because it really shows off how his hair protects him from the cold.

Chewie has always been one of my favorite characters from the franchise. I would say he's number 3, behind Palpy and Master Yoda. I was SO pissed in the original film when he didn't get a medal. I suppose I like him on this level because he's the loyal friend who always sticks by you.

Chewie is the best pet and best friend combo anyone could ask for. His childish nature mixed with his fierce loyalty just makes him perfect.
