the best weapons for last man on earth are the deagel and millitary rifle with scope, due to the fact that you can kill most specials before they can get close. The worst would be the wooden shotgun and chainsaw

nvm ak is good. Also attaching the laser sight to it is like the akimbo 1887s. The weapon had one severe downside that is removed by the upgrade

SG's slower firerate when scoped in is a good thing, you can use it when not in combat to shoot stray zombies without using too much ammo

I like the Uzi. I don't play online, and can barely make it through advanced difficulty. I play on Xbox, but I used to play on PC and love the last stand update. The new weapons are cool, but I never use snipers because they leave you vulnerable, and aiming with middle mouse is cursed.

i know this might trigger an argument, but, personally, the deagle is the most overrated firearm in the game. don't get me wrong, there have been times where the deagle literally saved me from having to restart A WHOLE EXPERT REALISM campaign (thanks to the one shot mechanic of the deagle in exrealism), but in all honesty, it's insanely awful at clearing hordes when scarce of primary ammo. i once, did an exrealism run in dead center and i used a deagle instead of a melee, my god was that a mistake. i ran out of ammo mid-way through the event and had no choice but to use my deagle. immediately got overwhelmed right in front of the alarm room.

One other difference between the shotguns is the accuracy. The chrome shotgun has the tightest spread of all, and then it’s followed by the spas. Then there’s the pump and auto shotguns. The chrome shotgun has the tightest spread in the game and the auto has the widest. This makes the chrome and spas the best shotguns for crowning witches, as the tighter spread ensures that all of the pellets will hit her if you aim as close to the middle of her as possible. The shotguns of both tiers have the same reload speed when going from empty to full at 4.2 for the tier 1 shotguns and 4 for the tier 2 shotguns.

Also the dual pistols reload slightly faster than reloading one pistol twice. The Magnum has the same reload speed as one pistol and will always one shot a common on any difficulty. (If you’re wondering, both of them reload at 1.6 seconds, and 2 empty, and the dual pistols reload at 2.33, and 2.5 empty. All pistols reload faster if you have one bullet or more left, and 2 or more left for dual pistols.)

in my personal experience, all shotguns can crown witches (going by the definition of killing in one shot), all that’s needed is to approach her from the front, and aim for the upper chest

auto shotguns should definitely be borderline overpowered. if you thought a good team full of laser sighted ak's was bad...

Personally i am a kind of a combat shotgun and fire ax person
I feel like those weapons are super op, and in Whitaker’s gun shop, the section of the combat shotgun states that the gun is banned IN 25 STATES.

You're absolutely so wrong about [X, Y, Z], I can't believe you'd say that weapon is above [A, B, C]!
In seriousness, this was a well-made video! A couple of criticisms, if I may:
1. This seems overly aimed at Versus play. I watch a lot of challenge runs and speedruns, and in those, players almost always go for a Combat Shotty the moment they see one and never look back. Perhaps because the movement patterns of the AI are easier to track than human players, so the extra accuracy afforded by the AK47 isn't as needed?
2. It's not very beginner-friendly to make a tutorial video in which your game is littered with unfamiliar mods. XD Nothing against mods whatsoever of course, but it certainly doesn't help make the info you're presenting any easier to digest. Just a suggestion in case you make any future tutorial videos. :)
3. No melee weapons? I know this says "firearm" tier list, but it feels weird to leave those out to me.
4. Lmao you ran out of ammo during the section where you said the Combat Rifle has "near-endless" ammo. XD I just thought that was funny. Unfortunate choice of supporting footage, but I know from experience that you're not wrong lol.
Overall I enjoyed this greatly and look forward to any future L4D2 content from ya! I wanted to say something else too, but I've forgotten it. If I remember, I'll edit this comment later LOL

I remember doing some testing of my own and I remember that the hunting rifle It's ever so slightly more accurate while moving than the military rifle. It's negligible.

ak is the best. u can get one taps from far away, or even get away with a double shot. and then just full auto when SI are close.

Australian here, I never saw the AWP or Scout in-game before the gore patch. I believe that was a Germany only thing.

I’m not wrong the most useless upgrade is the explosive grenade launcher Siri try to tell me that I’m wrong it what I think all it does is increase the explosive radius and I think does mild extra damage versus the incendiary which will permanently like the target on fire

As a shotty main Tier 1 will always be my favorite. Timing my shots will always be my thing with shotty and the auto shotties felt abit too overpowered for me and for the rifles so is the Ak with laser sights

Imo, the inclusion of the laser and ammo just made the list monotonous and made it impossible to keep track of where each gun actually ranked. Those aren't guns, so idk why they would be included in such a nonsense way.

Honestly I would've swapped the positions of SPAS shotgun and Benelli (auto) shotgun,. The former does only 1 damage less per shot (252 vs 253) but have a tighter spread and shoots less pellets, making it the direct evolution of the Chrome shotgun, so it's easier to kill a witch with it, and the single pellets do more damage (28 vs 23).
About the S and S+ ranks, I totally agree, really like the hunting and sniper rifle, if no one is using scoped weapons in my team I always take them, is a bummer that they are a bit underrated; the SSG 552 is basically an M16 but with a bit better fire rate and scope, so an improvement in any ways. And the AK-47, almost double the damage per bullet (58 vs 33) compared to M16 / SG552, lover fire rate (useful to conserve ammo) and becomes just more lethal with a laser sight.

The MP5? Restart campaign. SG552? Good luck with ammo. Knife? Just keep your pistol. Scout? No. AWP? Less DPS than a single pistol. Deagle on expert realism? Just throw out your primary you won't be needing it -- actually the smg is a good head popper it can stay.
