15 miles distance away. 10 mile distance from EMP burst? I'm doubtful they even filmed this.

Anyone watching this video will be interested in the incredible photograph of the Nagasaki mushroom cloud taken from the ground by by Hiromichi Matsuda.
It impresses the scale of the thing not from a far-away plan but from the ground it is truly horrifying.

Those nukes stopped Japan from committing even more war atrocities, people seem to forget the terrible things Japan did in ww2 when they committed some of the worst war crimes in history.

Glad we could drop a bomb on them and end their reign of terror. And look, now they are awesome, peaceful, beautiful country that makes great cars and video games :D win win.

Why were the USA still dropping atomic bombs after WW2? Polluting the atmosphere and oceans. Makes no sense.

Well thanks for compositing the expert, the home movie and the Nagasaki official film all on one screen.
So nothing can be seen to illustrate the point being made anyway.
Is the true footage available? A still image photographer was also on board?

Dropping is just off shore as an intimidation warning would've been as effective. Or on a naval fleet.

I'd say that the "error" was made because of the poor quality of the Hiroshima footage. News organizations want the best photos, not the most historically accurate ones. They are selling news images and it is a commercial decision, not made by some American government cabal. They are not public archives. This guy's conspiracy theory is typically idiotic historic re-write.

The man claiming the Nagasaki bomb was “immensely more powerful “ than the Hiroshima bomb is incorrect the official figures for the yields of the two bombs were respectively 25 and 15 kilotons. not an immense difference

And the one CNN showed the country was the wrong bomb, on accident?

So why would anyone believe anything from media at all?

This film mix-up is just the least significant of the false information about the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki all along the information pipeline. Harry Truman in his radio address told the world that Hiroshima was principally a military headquarters, and that civilians may regrettably have to be targets in any subsequent A-bombings -- as though they had not just been targets.
Many historians have said Truman himself was misled by the military into believing he was ordering the bombings of a massive military site, with minimal civilian suffering, and he was furious when he found out the real story. It seems truth was the first, and last casualty of war.

Nothing more than chemical explosives in a normal molecule explosion. Metals do not explode, they may burn poorly making more pollution than heat. First chapter of particle physics, the decay in a constant rate implies that no chain reaction may happen and that is very basic for all neutrons being lost.
