I love how they bash each other LOL
ОтветитьSony Experia 1 V?
ОтветитьWaiting for your iphone 15 pro max vs s23
ОтветитьYou need to compare the iPhone 15 ProMax new telephoto with any other smart phone camera now. You guys always cute!
ОтветитьIf people only knew how much of an upsell megapixels really are.
ОтветитьI have the iPhone 14 Pro and I am astonished at the quality it can produce, when you compare it with cameras like the Sony A1 or Canon R5. But one phone I have seen that can compete with both of these is the Google Pixel 7 Pro.
ОтветитьThis video is hilarious. Love the banter and mean and almost personal comments 😂😂😂
Ответитьhaha
ОтветитьHow about the shutters speed ? Who is the winner?
ОтветитьA couple 200MP shots and you've used up most of your cell phone memory.
ОтветитьAwesome video! You guys are the right mix of entertainment and education.
ОтветитьWhy was this between the S23 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro, not the Pro Max?
ОтветитьComparing pixel detail on a cell phone camera compared to a Sony a7r IV…priceless. Hey, can you text anyone with your Sony?
ОтветитьI have to interject my experience with my new G23 Ultra, vs my Note 10+ camera. 1. Yes, its sharper, but slightly over sharpened. 2. The colors are so over saturated in the G23, that if you have a blue sky with bright greenery, the colors become almost fluorescent, and quite hilarious. You would need to take the same pic on the note 10+ and edit the pic with +35 saturation boost to achieve the G23 result. Just the other day I was video calling mom with Google Meet, and she looked so red in the face she looked like one of the 7 dwarfs. She wasn't very happy, rather grumpy when I told her. In all other regards the G23U smokes the Note 10+ camera.
ОтветитьFunny, I bought an extra phone so I don’t after pack my DSLR and other camera types… just for the minimal need for heavy gear….lol though the trade offs is depending on tiny lens and electronic software lol .
ОтветитьNo perfect phone therefore Im gonna buy both hehe
ОтветитьNo seagulls were emotional hurt during this video.. video iphone14pro max everything else S23U
ОтветитьI wonder it eye autofocus will appear on a smart phone soon. It would be a great addion to my S23ultra.
ОтветитьJust took delivery of my iPhone 14 Pro Max and LOVE it. Both video and still IQ is great (I have no need for the telephoto setting provided by the S23 Ultra). And the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a great interface with my iPad and iMac. Chelsea is correct! (as always).
ОтветитьThis channel is a gem! I’m glad to get this video recommended! Also love those cool and funny conversations! Kudos to you Tony and Chelsea!
Ответитьز
ОтветитьI like the s23U ones better it wins
ОтветитьXiaomi 13 ultra camera is better than both phones.i own all 3 of them,s23ultra,iPhone 14 pro max and xiaomi 13 ultra.people ask me what phone is that because the camera is amazing.
ОтветитьNew satellite SOS feature on iPhone 14 saves Tujunga hiker without cell service. LASD said this is the department's third "iPhone rescue" of the year. A woman who suffered a broken leg while hiking in Tujunga was able to call 911 despite not having cell phone service due to a new and innovative feature on iPhone 14.
ОтветитьI HATE apple for reasons that would take 789457092347509382475 years to fully cover. But I HATE everything else even more. It's a weird kind of monopoly situation. As far as apple is concerned, they lock you into their ecosystem just as you say in this video and even though there are lots of other choices, you have to give up WAY too much to switch to any of them so they totally own you. The same is basically true of the other options too. Even if you argue that the other options don't lock you in with a really useful ecosystem so they're not as guilty as apple, they DON'T have an equivalently great ecosystem ! So you're FORCED to either give up things like a good camera or give up things like a good ecosystem. And who is going to own and use both simultaneously ? So either way, you have to make a choice and then you're stuck with whatever options (or lack of options like apples crappy camera) they decide to cram down your throat. Totally sucks.
Ответитьyup on the baked-in RAW sharpening. Using expert RAW, It can get especially bad on some shots at 12mp with sharpening artifacts everywhere, it's like something kicks in under certain circumstances that I would describe as "a 5 year old got ahold of lightroom when I walked away". Picture Softening set to medium, and 50mp setting seems to occasionally yield some ok shots, when it doesn't over-expose. Overall, I find the way they set up these modes, and how they implement processing to be a little bizarre. I hope it's some kind of hardware limitation, and they didn't plan this, because it seems like it has the potential to be actually decent.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video on my iPhone 12 max pro. I stopped caring about iPhone vs. Android when I bought my first iPhone 4s. Still it was quite entertaining.
ОтветитьPromax 14 overall winner
ОтветитьI've always been a Motorola guy and I have the Moto G Stylus 2021. It has a 48 MP camera (12 MP- Quad Pixel) and f/1.7. It has Pro camera features like manual shutter, ISO, White Balance, etc. Check out the new version and post a video!
ОтветитьI don't even want a new phone now. ahaha. I switched cell providers and am stuck with no phone service right, and now after transferring to a new company, they dropped the ball. Do I try for the 200mp Ultra or just a serviceable older Note 20? None of the tests here made me want to bust a wallet move. The sharpening on the Samsung may be a non pro look, but millions of people are non pro phone starerers. SAMSUNG.
ОтветитьI'm enjoying my S23, oversharpened pix and all. Most of my shots will be looked at on social media with only a select few printed out. My "real" camera is an old 8mp Olympus that still gives amazing pictures up to and past the resolution of most folk's home displays. My max Tele there is a 400mm equivalent at f3.5. Not anything amazing, but good glass nevertheless. The Galaxy with its 200mp sensor is the camera that is with me everywhere I go, so the 30 pound camera bag is a bit dusty these days. My 4K drone gets out more often.
Love these comparisons, thanks for the professional evaluation. 👍
iPhone lovers never accept Samsung is better 👎🏽
ОтветитьBEST episode ever, thank you Chelsea & Tony! :)
ОтветитьS23 Ultra the best, sorry OLD man Iphone
Ответитьu guys r such a nice combi…😊 r u a couple?❤
ОтветитьGEt a clip on lens to have real zoom / telephoto / wide angle / normal lenses. Some of these clip on lenses are only 5 to 20 dollars but would like to see if which are best.
ОтветитьIm a photographer and I always watch your gear reviews. As soon as I saw that you have also compared the camera capabilities of these two smartphones, other s23u/14pm camera comparisons dont matter much anymore. In terms of photography and camera reviews, you are one of the GOAT. 💙
ОтветитьPlease review Sony Xperia 1v
ОтветитьI'm an Apple user because of the entire eco-system. I'm absolutely sure there are better cell phone cameras as well as phone features out there on other devices.....but how everything works together as an eco-system is what matters most to me.
ОтветитьThere is open Camera app in android which let Raw photos with full exposure controls
ОтветитьPersonally I use my iPhone 14 Pro Max camera generally for close to midrange photos in daily life - pics of friends, interesting things nearby, maybe sunsets, etc. I don't generally use it for photos really far away that would require the longer lens. It would be epic to have of course - don't get me wrong. I have a Sony A1 that gets used when I'm serious about taking a photo - but obviously that isn't with me every time I'm out like the phone is. The iPhone and its user Apple interface is pretty satisfying for what a phone camera gets used for in my daily life - I am excited to have the RAW photo option and higher megapixels. Having had every iPhone since the beginning I can honestly say they are now approaching a satisfying image compared to a few years back. I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with the 4K 60p video on the iPhone 14 as well. 8K will be a game changer in my opinion on the next versions - especially since you can take still frames from 8K that are very acceptable (at least on my other cameras). I totally love your reviews and vids! Your channel is the one I go to first for reviews. Very well done and informative - and done with style and flair. I've learned SO much from you both. BTW you both get BETTER LOOKING every year... Maybe you should do a review of your anti-aging regimes. NOW if I can get my new iPhone 14 Pro Max to quit randomly restarting throughout the day I might be totally satisfied with it...
ОтветитьHave you tried taking raw files using Adobe LightRoom camera? Can the LightRoom's camera app remove the built-in preprocessing?
ОтветитьYou loved the Pixel 6 Pro when it came out so I'm surprised you aren't including the Pixel 7 Pro in this comparison with the latest Samsung and Apple phones. And I'm especially curious about the Pixel 8 Pro coming out this fall.
ОтветитьI'm using a OnePlus 10 Pro and I think it's superior to my wife's iPhone
Love the comparison.
It is 2023, there is absolutely no reason to still be using Apple products. Cross platform integration is much better with Android. The best camera smartphones are all Android devices. Look at Huawei P60, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Samsung S23 Ultra. The so called Apple eco system is just a set of bad purchasing decisions and a choice of mediocre products. I would rather have choice and buy the best available for the budget I have. Also you are not tied into Apple's bad design decisions which seems to be primarily designed to maximize Apple profit and reduce customer freedom. Sorry is a very long time since Apple has produced a completive smartphone.
ОтветитьAppreciate this review.
Could also do a comparison between iPhone and Xiaomi 13 pro. No other channel gives a good review, also you guys are from dslr background.
I have a 14 pro max and an s23 ultra. I always prefer the samsung.
