Yes, this is a re-upload. The original version of this got taken down after five days, and I've spent the last 5 months trying to get it back up.
But it's here now! And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's here to stay.
Also, if you wind up getting too many ads on the video, I'm sorry, there are still SOME copyright claims on this that control the ad frequency, so I have no power over that (nor do I get the money.)
But, enjoy the video, it's back! And it's about 23 seconds longer than it was in April!😀 Also, subscribe if you haven't, it helps a lot. 👍
Now I must watch them all again. Extended edition of course.
Ответитьi am just gonna say it, this was made when movies ment something
ОтветитьThis was fun to relive. Saw them all at theaters. Never read the books.
ОтветитьCinema peaked with these films. 🎥
ОтветитьI met sean astin, lovely man!
ОтветитьGood video.

ОтветитьSimply the greatest achievement in cinematic history.
ОтветитьAt least Harvey (the rapist) Winstein got a cameo 😂😂😂
ОтветитьFriendly reminder, Tolkien Day is the 3rd of January.
ОтветитьLast question, and bear with me... What's the difference between Orcs and jamiroquai?
ОтветитьYou were told to say that weren't you.. no!!! No... yessssssssss my precioussssssssss
ОтветитьYour knowledge is impressive. I remember after reading the Hobbit then LOR ... the ring wasn't evil in the hobbit, T'was just strange.
Also the great nothing happening slogging of reading some of the LOR... they're still travelling etc.
Shame they missed Tom Bomberdill out of the films.. He was great.
Game of Thrones next!
ОтветитьBesides being a monster, turns out Harvey Wenstein was also an idiot landing vision.

ОтветитьEpic retrospective. When will get the Extended version?
ОтветитьI love all of the subtle comedy they incorporated into these films. Like when Gollum is talking to himself in The Two Towers (and this may be unintentional on the part of Jackson) and he says “You don’t have any friends” with that wide eyed glare and goofy smile, is something that made me and my buddy crack up. On one hand it’s a cruel representation of Gollum’s struggle, but in the same vein is darkly humorous.
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьTill this day I don’t think Hollywood have gave us a movie of this quality. The artistry that went into this movie is just top notch.
ОтветитьEveryone involved with making this trilogy gave their absolute heart and soul to creating the truest interpretation of this classic series I think we're ever likely to see. Can we also say thank God for Robert Shaye and his faith in the project?
ОтветитьIts pure cinematic ART. UNtouchable.
ОтветитьI watched this video, watched all the extended editions, now im back
I guess you can say i was there and back again
I’m not crying, you’re crying
ОтветитьThanks for such a great retrospective. So much work went into this and it shows.
ОтветитьYou made a video worth of this outstanding piece of art. What a fantastic job you did.
I was 13 to 15 when these movies came out, and your video made me relive those days in which you had to wait a whole damn year to see the next chapter of the trilogy.
These movies mean the world to me, thank you for making them justice! 🤍
This was very enjoyable.
ОтветитьThis was a brilliant video. A great job well done!
This is what the fans deserved and this was the respect Tolkien was due. Not that rubbish and trash Amazon put out.
That has to be the most epic ' making of video ' I have seen in years, I had not read the books before I had seen the movies & if you haven't it is worth the effort. I also just found all the Special Extended DVD Edition box sets from my brother when he got rid of all his DVDs, you know the ones that fold out with the cardboard covers, & I just realised I have never watched them, this should make for a fun new year. On another tangent my wedding ring was a tungsten steel copy of the one ring, much stronger than gold.
ОтветитьIncredible video. Beautiful job
ОтветитьThe Greatest video I've seen covering the movies

watching this just shows why the rings of power did not work out
ОтветитьI love this Video!
ОтветитьThanks for this video, I really enjoyed it and learnt quite a bit too.
ОтветитьI genuinely think Frodo was miscasted. Elijah Wood did a great job but he was simply too young and comes across as too much of a baby amongst the 4 hobbits.
Frodo was the oldest, wisest and best educated amongst the 4. Essentially the Alpha which really didnt come across in the books.
Absolutely the greatest behind the scenes material you could get. These movies will never be topped. I was like 6 when fellowship was in theaters and its a shame i didnt appreciate them fully when i saw them in theaters as a kid
ОтветитьCasting was so well done, when i reread the books they’re who i picture.
ОтветитьDude! What a fun video. I had hours of driving to do today (12/24/23) and you kept me company the whole way!! I’ll have to actually watch next time. Only audio today. Gonna watch Hobbit Retrospective next!
ОтветитьMy guy, you"re not the only to see the dvd extras, we all know about the broken toe.
ОтветитьSubbed & Liked! Enjoyed the video! Good work & God bless in 2024!
ОтветитьI like your stuff, but I do like Mauler as well so if you don’t like him, then that’s fine. Your Star Wars comments turned off so had to post here
