ОтветитьInformation overload but very informative. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьWhat is the thickness of your self made, homemade or whatever you've named them, stencils. I'd like to make one of my own. I'm new to hyperrealism style drawing and have been picking up tips, tricks and most useful skills. My interest soared after seeing your Drawing tools 2022 _ Everything I Use video. I like that it's kinda floppy and not stiff. Hoping to hear back from you. Thanks.

ОтветитьI enjoy your art ..you have wonderful wonderful talent.. Or as I would say" Kool"..
ОтветитьWhat method do you use to get the drawing on paper before you start shading it in?
ОтветитьGreat, you've answered some questions I had. When I was at Art school, I was told that hairspray was good for fixing charcoal (a little different to graphite) . I was wondering how this differs from fixing spray. Principally, it was to 'fix' or avoid smudging post drawing, I guess in a sense that is a way to protect the picture so as to not loose details.
Ответитьcant find (B graphite sticks can you help please
Ответитьwhat brand use fixative
ОтветитьYou are amazing bro! I have a question, You don't use any type of hard bristel brush to blur your drawings?

ОтветитьA very useful video, thanks for sharing all of this with us!
ОтветитьThanks Jono, I'm grateful to you for sharing this information. :)
ОтветитьHi Jono Dry - Thanks SO much for an amazing video!! This really helps demystify the process. I wanted to ask, what thickness MDF board do you use - 12mm or 18mm? :) I'm struggling to know what thickness to go for stretching 300gsm paper on a large scale e.g 200 x 150xcm. Any advice would be fantastic!
ОтветитьHi Jono, Would you please provide specific name of (gifted) blade you are using on pencils. I could not catch the name and am interested in buying one.
ОтветитьHi
Where do you source your 9b graphite stick from? Tx
You use arches Aquarelle? I have a roll of that for my large watercolors. I never thought to use it for charcoal. In college I did large charcoals. I know I used the wrong paper then and I was plagued with problems reworking but it was the largest paper I could get at the time
Ответитьusing linseed oil on paper is a huge mistake: its acid will slowly eat your paper and destroy it. it also happen on raw canvas and that's exactly why canvas and paper are always primed prior to oil painting (where linseed oil is the binder of the color). this has been known for centuries.
moreover, linseed oil will yellow with time.
try to find a substitute, perhaps an acrylic or vinyl (PVA) one.
Thank you for this! I am interested in your studio lighting setup under which you work. I struggle at home since having to work mostly at night and my light looks very yellow. Any advice please?!!!
ОтветитьEverything is superb and sleek! 🤟🏻💯🤍
