[Solved] Blogger custom domain not working (2016)

Thank you for this video! I've been dealing with this error for 3 days and it makes me feel so helpless not to recover my domain name. Your video really works, the step by step instructions are easy to follow. To think this was uploaded on 2013 – updated on 2016. Though some of the setting arrangements from Blogger is different now (2022), just need to look for details carefully to where you put the host name, address, CNAME etc. Thank you again!

Hi, My domain expired a day ago and I immediately paid to get it renewed. The google wallet says that the purchase is successful but when I tried to put the link under the "advanced settings", it says "We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 32" I bought the domain through google so I have nowhere to put the CNAMEs and etc. What do I do? Thanks in advance!

When I enter the username-bloggeradmin and the password I reset it tells me the u/n or p/w is incorrect. i tried a hundred times. Not sure what is going on. Thanks for the help.

You don't add " 216.239.38.21" is that OK? As Google provide total 4 A records

Seriously, I thank you so much. I am a beginner and was able to do it. My blog was hosted with Enom. The only difference with your video when I went in Enom, we have to choose the option CNAME (alias) under RECORD TYPE after we paste the Host Name and Address. Worked perfectly now.

First I want to say thank you for the video. Second I am still having trouble. I am on enom and do not have the launch link. I clicked the "edit" under host records and per the video added the host name and address. When I click on save it says processing and then an error pops up that says ERROR: A record is invalid: Address: (the address from blogspot listed here) must be an IP Do you know what that means and how I fix this? Looks like this last step is holding me back. Thanks!

For enom no launch link... After you logged in on enom, you can see the cname lists... under that click "edit" or "add" text and then add the cname as in video

Hello, I have watched your video several times and am having problems. I think it stems from that fact that I cannot access my admin acct. When I try to use the bloggeradmin it won't allow me to go thru the same steps you give in the video. I am so frustrated! I am getting error 32 on my blogger dashboard. I have tried setting up a google apps account but can't connect it to my url/blogspot so it doesn't give me the doman options to change my dns or cname. I wish I knew what to do?!?

It has been more than three days since I have bought my domain. The bought domain is showing error 404, and no transition page. Do you think I should give this more time and it will fix on it's own? Thanks a ton!

You are welcome! Instructions are same for enom too. In which step you struck at? Before it was not like this,it was easy to purchase domain and within few hours, domain would be activated.

I really can't thank you enough. Solved half the problem through this video, and also figured out from your video that my domain has been registered on 'enom' and not 'Godaddy'!! Now further issue is that you cannot unlock your domain manually though enom. Have just mailed them. No one ever mentions that purchasing a domain through blogger would also be technical. And seriously I can't believe that Google does not have proper instructions to guide someone through this process.
