For anyone wondering why he decides he's the last man on Earth after only exploring maybe 2 continents: Bruce is visited by an alien-robot representative from the Intergalactic council who scanned the planet and was chagrinned to find one human was left on the planet. That human was Banner. So he left Banner with a robot to record the last days of the last man on Earth.

hulk is immortal even without his host being alive much like a symbiot they are immune to age toxins and even space hulk has only one desire which i will speak hulk to explain "hulk wants to prove hulk is strongest there is nothing will stop hulk from proving hulk is strongest" (huh sounds like a movie line) hulk doesn't realise the burden of being the strongest such as the great one punch man says all the time "overwhelming strength is... pretty boring actually" and with hulk being immortal and can heal from any injruy hulk with eventuraly pull a kars and stop thinking entirely kars in jojo couldn't move talk all he did was think but eventually the lonliness and invavitablility of being in an endless void erased his personality and turned him into a mindless god which can't even think for himself if set free his only will is to serve without a mind of his own he would need a master and since hulk is the strongest and is immortal he will eventually turn mindless and only obey a master and since mindless beings live up to genie rules "who ever frees me is my master and the only one i will give wishes too" or in this case obey hulk will eventurally be in a new earth since nothing exists the only thing that will survive is him after the big implosion and the recreation of the big bang hulk will be on a new earth full of cave people and being mindless doens't matter what language the person speaks hulk will understand even if its just grunts and mindless beings will looks for a new master after the pervious dies untill someone finds away to kill an immortal being (just realised i single handedly created a entire new AU for hulk) to continue hulk with infinietly obey his hosts untill something or someone familier speaks to him someone like thor or banner once a mindless person hears someone they remeber they automaticly revert back to normal fully in control and most importantly having their minds back
