People don't want to get the ROMS themselves because they are worried about malware. But with one of these devices, you can almost guarantee there will be malware. You can get an old workstation for little to no money and use it as a burner to download the ROMs.

So many great games, I hate feeling like I’ve ripped someone off but if I cant buy it I’m getting it one way or the other..

honestly it would be a better value to get the harddrives I see on AMZ that have PC,emulation and etc all on one drive... funny times.

You're crazy to boot any of your systems on a sd card that you bought on the internet, especially a sd card containing pirated games.

That's just a copy of batacera loaded with games from Internet Archives . You can do it yourself but it will take you days to put that many games on it tho...

Just make your own I spent a while making mine on a pc now anytime I need a game I just transfer it

without even watching the vid i can tell you that they are false advertising sure there will be 43k roms but maybe 70% of them are duplicates in other languages etc your best to just diy your own emu with the games you want there mostly easily available and free

Maybe a dumb question, but could you just move the files from a product like this onto a new (bigger) drive? Would you still be able to boot the same? If that were the case you could update as needed and add new or missing roms to the library

id like to see a video on how to make a usb drive like this, im sure i could figure it oput but i have a steam deck and LOVE retro games, and having a guide to do this would make life a LOT easier
