Mailchimp Journey Automations (Tutorial)

MailChimp's Customer Journey default is that subscribers who enter a journey that's paused aren't added to the journey once it's been unpaused. We are constantly pausing our journeys to update the emails and people are signing up for our Journeys at all times. Does anyone have experience figuring out a way to tag MailChimp subscribers through MailChimp's API that will allow subscribers who sign up for a Customer Journey that's been paused to be automatically added to the Journey once the Journey has been unpaused?
