Pro-Q 3 Tutorial | External Sidechain Trigger for Dynamic EQ Nodes | Fabfilter

Is anyone else having an issue with the spectrum analyzer not showing up but the audible effect of the EQ still working? Even when I click on different instruments under Analyzer, nothing.

I did the same as in the video, but the external sidechain button did not appear, I tried everything, but it does not appear(

Don’t know why but I’m not seeing both waveforms

hey, thanks for that but one quick question. What if i filter the beat for example and still want to have same sidechain effect without filter but with filter on? Is there a way to set the sidechain effect with fabfilter pre effects?

Just a tip: it's easier to setup a sidechian using the actual device in the fx chain. Nice vid otherwise.

How would you then export the Master? since it won't include the return track as it's output is routed to Pro Q instead of 1/2

Heya! Thanks for the tutorial - just wanted to let you know that there's a much quicker way: in the ableton device there's a sidechain drop-down menu that does the same trick (just like sidechaining with eg glue compressor)

I have pro Q3 and been trough this tutorial. It makes sense but the sidechain button isn't there? Done this a few times and can't work out why
