However we were going to throw a Thanksgiving night event but so many other people or events are happening now should we still throw ours?

So I am thinking if hosting a free event to the public i know it sounds dumb but I like seeing everyone happy and having a good time it makes me happy. Now I was thinking for this coming easter. My worries is if i promote it and people see it and then all of a sudden a bunch of people show up like how do I calculate for that how to know how many are going to come.
