Hello, do you offer one on one or private courses on editing in FCPX?

Since 10.4.5 has been updated on my imac, I cannot pull open the yellow frame around the Titles when typing in my info. Have I hit a wrong setting somehow? Or does anyone else have this problem? The normal yellow frame around the Title is now only a single px wide vertical line that will not expand. Help! (I really love your tuturoials, by the way. Thank you so much for all of the help you provide us.)

the blade new icon is ugly

I wouldn't assume that Apple is listening based on the change of the scissor icon. Could have been someone on their development staff that commented on it!

Thanks a lot for this video! I was allowing my MacBook Pro to automatically update and recently did update my libraries as prompted by this 1054 update. So far no issues with 3rd party plugins and that’s great, especially now that I’m creating commercial work.

this version seems to be more buggy for me with random blackouts of the viewer window when editing especially proxy.

in 10.5.3 I had a strange bug. randomly few of my original clips go to zero bytes and was unable to play them and in the timeline, it says missing plugin (instead of missing media) on clips even if there is not any plugin applied. updated to 10.5.4 so far seems ok.

Are they going to change the short cut ? Command-B was and still is because Blade right :)

A backup is create automatically under backup, so,what you do is redundant.

I had plug in and enable/disable instabilities (crashing) but with the update, its mostly fixed).

Prior to any update I make sure my Backups are current, much simpler than making additional copies of aps & libraries. Thanks for sharing.

I miss the blade icon. I actually think this update just makes it a little more cluttered as at least the icon was off to the side previously so you could clearly see the red line where you were going to cut. Yet in the grand scheme of things this really doesn't matter much at all. What matters in enjoying another vid from Midland Pictures... and world peace.

I appreciate all your videos. I was having a sporadic problem with stability and my M1 MacBook Pro. If I got into a hurry applying default titles in a large project with keystroke combinations and something else, maybe applying a look to multiple clips I sometimes got an infinite spinning color wheel. The only fix was to force quit and restart. Haven’t seen it yet.
