I never believed i could create art,let alone sell it.But i have sold a good deal of art and had my art in galleries including a government building here in NZ .Just go for it,I still look at some of my work and hate it and other art i love and wished had never sold .Just do it, failure is part of the process.

Most of us painters use gallery wrapped canvas and cradled panels. So as a artist we don't have to frame it. The placement of signature can be a issue, if the art buyer wants to frame it. Even with drawings and watercolors . So I usually give about a 1/4" or more from the edge for my signature . For matting and framing ease. Or I like to incorporate into the composition of the artwork.🖼️

Another artist tip I recommend . Don't rinse you paint brushes in your coffee. I recommend a covered beverage container. Also keep your finished art work away from the paint splash zone.

Flip it upside down: Ignore the traditional meaning of failure and see it instead as opportunity. Every failure of your life is the opportunity for learning and growth. I'm excited when something fails because I know that my work and art business will improve because of the failure. Go boldly and bravely into the studio you awesome artists and create !!

Totally agree! Again you got to the pount Rafi ❤you know what? I was also thinking that way when i started my art business 3 years ago that making art for what people like was actually making me mire sad than ever and i was not happy doing.
All along those years i learned so much about myself as an artist ..
I realised that there are people or clients out there for every type of Art and this is so true!
Now i draw what i love to draw and iam in grace with my Artwork, we bith connected and this is probably the key to perform my own craft and be able to find my audience !
Mych love both, you guys are true Artist motivator !
Much live from France 🇨🇵🇨🇵

I just sent this to a friend of mine..we have this conversation ALL the time..how she expects to do whatever perfectly and when she doesn’t gets discouraged, and then quits. I’m always telling her I’ve been doing this for a very long time and still create poo sometimes, especially when I’m experimenting with something new. But I keep at it, I can’t imagine not making things.

I so agree with you. I believe as artists we need to challenge ourselves to become better artists but at the same time with each piece ask yourself "what can I learn from what I just created". Also we need to learn to step outside the box and not become complacent because then we get bored. Again I agree with you both! Love videos!
