4 Quick Tips To Build Your LinkedIn Connections (w/ String Nguyen, Top Voice)

As a Top Voice on LinkedIn twice in a row - I have some few tips on how to grow and boost your LinkedIn Connection.

Tip: Build your connection list to 500 people

If you check my profile (linkedin.com/in/stringstory) - I have nearly 29,000+ followers (as of Dec 2018). But this is all organic. It's because I have a channel, and have a following.

When it comes to connections, I will be honest and I have about 4,000 connections. LinkedIn has a cap of 30,000 connections. Translation: you can only connect with 30,000 connection and then you have to delete.

handy tip: turn your connection button to a "FOLLOW" button - this is useful if you want to plan to push content on a regular basis. When you a channel, you can be a #1 niche thought leader in your industry.

Still, think about what kind of connections you want to build in your industry.
Don't add randoms.
Add relevance.

When you push content on a regular basis, you network will see the content into their feed, so you're building your reputation in that space.
