I really think midgame players will build him exactly like they'd build a Serris if they got her... in other word, exactly like the endgame build but with less stats. Sure there will be a few who are still using their starter champ. Goodness knows I kept my Hurndig in a hybrid build for too long (until the point when it actually made sense to build him in a stronger hybrid build because I no longer needed him in arena) but by midgame I started getting champs like Candraphon and then you get Cleo from the login rewards.

Wukong works fine against annoying Helicath teams and such and can supplement Ramantu but it's better to build him with at least 400 resistance
