For those who may have missed my previous comments. I compiled and uploaded this so I could explain my love of Van-Gogh's art to a dear friend of mine and thought McLean's Stary Stary Night was perfect in helping to explain. The lyrics were strictly for the benefit of my Friend, who's first language is not English.I never imagined it would get so many views and comments. I'm so glad I was able to share.

Sorry about the spelling. English is my second language. If GOD exists then he knows what ive been put through my entire existence. I heard it that he will never give you more than you can handle. Im thinking about it now. My wife of 25 years left right before xmas she thought i came into money because all the farmers got it from FEMA ASSISTANCE! She thinks me andmy Dad got paid. My Daf didnt tell me nothing. She also got from her farm. Under her name same as my Dad. They bith think im holding out. I didnt get a thing. They dont know that. But im a pawn in their wicked game. My 5 kids all grown and gone. My life isnt worth a thing. Ask my wife or Dad. Sick isnt it. I hate money!

Something in this song really hits so hard like you feel the pain of the person to whom the singer dedicated it. Its so sad.

I heard Julio Iglesias version first and it brought me here. Love them both.

I would like to dedicate this song to Vincent Van Gough and Tupac Shakur two brilliant artists and great men who were only heard and appreciated after it was to late RIP to both of those men

My dad just passed away and this was one of his favourite songs. This was even played during his burial. So here I am, playing it nonstop while reminiscing about the good times I had with my dad 😢.
