Really interested in the combination of pro res codec + final cut + 4k footage scrubbing straight on the timeline...no proxies or optimized media on a 13in M1. Possibly thinking about switching from oc just for that combination.

I never got back to you about my previous comment, so here’s what I was trying to ask: Do you have any advice for dongles that would plug into one of the usb-c ports, and provide the other types of ports we’d wanna use. For example, USB, SD card slots, Ethernet ports, HDMI ports, etc. I’m assuming we’d need a dongle of some sort for those, unless, is any of that included on the laptop itself? It doesn’t appear to have anything other than the usb-c ports.

Hey I bought 16” max specs to perform a lot but unfortunately it is so hot that i cannot use it as a lapotop. Is this one also get hot during simple safari browsing ?
