Those who assert 'men need to do better' best watch this video and pray they model good behavior to their children.
ОтветитьTrust, understanding, early investments and connections. I wish I had received this early on.
ОтветитьMirror neurons!
ОтветитьThese practices are why I am an early childhood educator. Relationships which are consistent and loving.
ОтветитьAmen: nutrition and modeling for young families. A youngster from our church had a baby at 16. She needs support, nutrition, guidance, etc.
ОтветитьIs this the reason why my brother is so much better in all these aspects compared to me? :’) well fuq my toddler years

ОтветитьThe video begins with a self-contradiction. It states that the aim is a more "equal society," then pictures someone winning a race. Do we want all races to end in a TIE? If equality is the goal, why feature someone winning over others? But first, why is equality a goal? We can be "equally" mediocre. And if "equality" is the goal, it's more easily obtained by reducing everyone to the same level. No, equality is not a worthy goal.
ОтветитьDo you think this video impact the decision of people planning to adopt / foster kids
ОтветитьGood speech, I like it a lot. But the big question is what vaccination is doing to kids brain development in the first 1000 days?
ОтветитьI rather not stare at the people in the audience. If I’m at a lecture my full attention is toward the speaker. Maybe TED wants to show the different demographics of the audience. Frankly, It’s a bit distracting looking at others and their stale faces lol
ОтветитьReally great info for the new parents to take care thier children.

ОтветитьVery convincing yes, but nature works in unfair ways. Obviously she is laying down the cheat sheet here to follow. I say follow it!!! Still, any mammal born faces a variety of factors influencing future strengths that will develop on their own. Obviously parents can nurture all sorts of coveted strengths in children. I mean look at the high number of Asian kids with early music skills spurred by demanding parents (Tiger Moms???). Anyways, strengths might be advantageous in the animal's environment, or not. It's all a bit of a gamble. However her blueprint for starting a child off right comes from solid research. There's nature, with heaps of emphasis placed on nurture here.
She is correct about early invested proven nurturing tactics setting that child up for a stronger future. Its like with wild baby birds. The baby that gets fed the best at the earliest stage likely has the strongest shot at reaching adulthood without fail. The neglected siblings might be weaker which create a disadvantage. This is generally true. There are always interesting exceptions. Life is a challenge. Each creature born is a mortal experiment. Really I suggest not creating any more humans. Kindly opt out of this breeder nonsense. Spare a life from inevitable suffering. I'm sure you can find something far better to do. If you love children, work with those already here. Dedicate your time to improving life rather than spitting out more life. The world population is big enough.
Absolutely loved it...and I'll be quoting you in my next 1st 1000 days lecture...Thank you !
