Well, I tried this, but this stupid elephant refuses to move to trigger the tripwire. Just kept shooting at me no matter how far I moved away. Then I used arrows with 334 tear damage on the tusks. Took 6 arrows before it broke.

This challenge trial reading: tremortusks are resistant to shock damage so use shock ammo to put them in the shocked state

Dumb question but where do I buy shock arrows?

Me finding out I have to do the all the Hunting Grounds again like Zero Dawn: maybe the plenum trophy isn’t worth it

Tips if you're still struggling. Use tear arrows expose the shock canister. Shoot it with an electric arrow and as its going down start getting your tear arrows ready and shoot the tusks off. Did it in half a minute

The clawstriders are BY FAR the most annoying machine in this game

His tusks are in the fucking ground😂 when u shock him and when it’s not it takes two precision arrows to take on tusk so what I did is shoot them both once then shock him n then after his tusks would be in the ground, this game man🤦🏻‍♂️

This trash should not be for Trophy's in games

I really hate how this game tries to be like borderlands… BUT THROWS YOU IN A PIT WITH ENEMIES WEAK TO PLASMA DAMAGE, but hands you literally every other element. This game is stupid and these trials are awful.

My version, you have to drench it first before it can be shocked. Is that my level of difficulty?

Thanks I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. I was counting the shock symbol above him as being in the shock state. Grr now I know.

It’s definitely not a question of changing the difficulty. You can’t shoot the tusks off - even on Story mode - WHEN THE DAMN TUSKS ARE EMBEDDED IN THE FRIGGIN GROUND!! Every. Damn. Time for me. I give up.

For anyone out there that’s still struggling with this, I just found a very easy way to do this and did it in 25 seconds. Glide down when the tremortusk has its back turned to you, charge up an explosive spike with the propelled spike ability to blow the cover off of one of the sparkers, hit the sparker with any shock arrow, then shoot the tusks off with your most powerful bow before the clawstriders swamp you.

The Tremortusk has two cylinders on either side of his head that look like they are conducting electricity. If you hit either of them with a shock weapon, they bust quickly and it causes him to enter shocked state. I suspect that hitting them is how the game meant for you to get him shocked. It would have helped if they had explained that somehow.

Worst trial, this is ridiculous

There so many problems with this game that ruin it, as when I floored it, the tusks went under the ground so I couldnt hit then. Which is a great shame as it had the potential to be a classic. Thanks for the vid

Right on. No point in doing this on normal or making it harder for yourselves. I'm already at the end. Beat the game, just here for the trophies so I can move on and delete the game. After playing both games back to back, im a little sick of these robo dinosaurs for the last month

These trials make me hate this game. It just emphasizes the bugginess of a lot of the game mechanics. Traps go off when they want to, even when enemies walk on them. Arrows can point directly at something then the enemies twitch and it hits nothing. Plus Ally constantly get flopped around when hit and being unable to move is annoying.

I'm stuck his tusks constantly goes into the floor no matter were I place him is the that shockwave tear bow thingy they had in the 1st 1 this kinda annoying me

How do you stop the tusks glitching into the ground? Tried this so many times and they just go underground, so I can't hit them.

seems like whatever weapon I was using lacked enough tear damage bc I shot those tusks like 20 times. grrr

The worst part about this shit is that there’s no option to restart immediately from the pause menu—you have to run all the way back to the groundskeeper 🤦🏻‍♂️ What I ended up doing after I figured this out is take out the two Clawstriders to the left, ran to the Tremortusk, put an Elite Vertical Shock Trap in front of it, let it walk into it, then when it went down I one-shotted each tusk with an Advanced Shredder.

why did that R1 valor boost ability disappear after i leveled up?
