[FIX] You must update Grand Theft Auto V before Launching it (How to Run GTA V Offline) (Steam,Epic)

not working man, it still prompts update

Firstly it's the end of 2023 and yes it works perfectly IF you are launching using Rockstar. Also I did nothing more than use the commandline edit which I already had in my GTAV directory. Honestly I haven't touched my GTAV in months because it's heavily modded for realism with custom cars and engine sounds, next-gen graphics, military response at level 5 and just about everything else. However in these recent months with Cyberpunk 2.0 and Starfield launching I modded those till I was satisfied with Starfield being a WIP. When GTAVI was announced I figured I'd revisit GTAV but forgot what hoops to jump to get it to play with this or that update and that lead to here. Game started just as in the video and it still shows offline mode connection not established etc. Thank you for a late, but much appreciated Xmas gift don't forget to share.

How do i fix the shortcut from crushing immediately after opening the shotcut

This also works if you own gta v on the Rock star launcher. Make a short cut with scofflineonly and also type the prompt into the properties section of the launcher and run as admin. Ty for the vid u were the only helpful one for me.

GTA V wasn't launching for me, if I update it will it help? (im using steam version)

this does not work for me due to possibly some change with rockstar games. It indicates I can't sign into the Social Club and only option is to quit game. If I go through steam, it loads fine. but the shortcut with Bypass mod does not work for me right now.

For everyone on Epic Games: Make two copies of GTAV and whenever the "Update and Launch" writing comes up close out of Epic Games and put in the non modded GTAV folder.
Update it and then put the Modded GTAV folder back in (by rename it back to GTAV in directory).
Now threre should be no sign to Update the Game.

After the latest summer DLC i am stuck on downloading Loop i have bought game officially from Rockstar. Does any one suggest any solution to this ?? Whenever i try to open game it updates 1.4 GB and after completing it it again says 1.4 GB update requires. Please suggest some solutions. PC player
