About lockpicking. I’m a massive noob. Ordered my kit, should arrive tomorrow. Do you push on each one until you feel it get into a position where it’s no longer bouncy? Like if it’s stiff push until it clicks and if it’s bouncy just leave it. Is this how it works? Someone better explain this to me please!
ОтветитьThis sounds promising. I have lost the key to my Vespa-like scooter and would love to see if I accidently locked the key inside the carryall on the back. All the ID to prove I own it is in there for sure. Thanks.
ОтветитьWow. Been watching your videos and just sitting back impressed and not having a clue what's actually going on for years. This is complete game changer. I bet people will learn SO much faster now just from being able to see this.
ОтветитьThis was a great video on an unusual niche topic that is reaching a larger audience....
ОтветитьDope
ОтветитьSo i watch vids with captions on right? And it kinda messed up, and instead of "this is the lock picking lawyer" it said "this is the walk between lawyer"💀
ОтветитьCurious.. the binding order started out the same for SPS and Lishi: 2, 5, 6, and 3 at first .. but why did the Lishi then require going over pin 4, then 6 and 4 again when SPS did not? I expected that to go smoother if anything. Just the random nature of tolerances? Or the way the hook pick tends to rock, the arm sometimes raising untargeted pins a little?
ОтветитьHow do you lockpick with paperclips?
ОтветитьThis helps me understand what you're saying
ОтветитьI wonder if he has monetization off because there are never any ads... Truly a king
Ответитьwhere did you get the cutaway cylinder you use here?
ОтветитьWhat is this lock called? Ive been looking for a cutaway just like this!!
ОтветитьThese videos are gold.
ОтветитьHow does this relate to the key number? If it binds or doesn't bind
ОтветитьWe use ours to lock our Convertabench garden benches to nearby trees.
ОтветитьCould you do a video similar to this one going over the various types of security pins and how they work?
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьWhich lychee picks do you like the leashy guy or the knockoffs?
ОтветитьWhat about that teeth key with long teeth, that removes the pins off the barrel and open it?
ОтветитьWhat do you use as a platform/vise to hold the cylinder/lock?
ОтветитьThis man is a wizard at most locks. Watching how is great.
ОтветитьI'm a lawyer and I picked my first real lock today! Thank you LPL!
Ответитьt would have been nice if the shear was marked.
ОтветитьSeat post on guard initially
ОтветитьI now understand. Thank you so much sensei.
ОтветитьI misunderstood and under rated the wavy thing he uses back and forth.but this video opened my eyes
ОтветитьI never understand how this works on good locks. The entire principal is pushing pins until they get stuck above the spot they need to be to open. But as soon as you let go of the pin, the only thing holding it is the force of the turn. Wouldnt better machining withh tighter tolerances and a better pin design cause this to no longer work? Tighter tolerance to avoid the ledge click should prevent it and pins that have a second pin inside should prevent friction on the outside
ОтветитьBattery powered angle grinder works well to
ОтветитьI PICKED MY FIRST LOCK TODAY!
i feel so accomplished lol
Been waiting years to see that video. Thanks.
ОтветитьHow exactly did the..leechee(?) tool get its name? 🤔
Ответить"You can see why it's such an effective tool."
Against really garbage locks. What's worse than red flag? Because when the wave rake comes out we're beyond standard levels of critical failure.
Outstanding vid! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Gameplay
ОтветитьEven in this view I don't get what binding and set actually means physically. How it actually happens. For example, what gets one of those pieces to click and become set? What's holding it?
ОтветитьDamn, Thief simulator with Ray tracing looks amazing!
Ответитьthank you for this, i never understood what binding etc. exactly mean
ОтветитьLove this!
ОтветитьA Newby ..you forget which direction unlocks ..how do you work that out and hence how to tension the lock
ОтветитьI now wanna see what the other types of pins do and mean now too, like how do the security pins actually act as security?
ОтветитьThis is super cool
ОтветитьMeanwhile, in video games: "lockpick breaks"
ОтветитьWhy is there a groove for the pins to rest in? If the key pushes the pins to the correct height, couldn’t the manufacturer make a pick-proof lock by making the cylinder smooth for each pin?
Then every time someone tries to pick it, the tension pushes it back down
Maybe this is a stupid question, but how did the binding order change? When you single-pin picked, it looked like the order was 2-5-6-3, but by the end when you're using the Lishi tool, it looks as if the binding order had changed slightly, or that you had to re-set pins you had already set. What was happening there?
ОтветитьI have a lock that I can unlock with that last tool pretty reliably, but I can't get it to lock.
It seems the tension is too hard to get right, and the tension on the pins seems reversed as well (1 and 2 pins bind first when unlocking, but locking will bind the 5 pin first)
goood
ОтветитьI picked my first lock today!
ОтветитьGreat video. Thx.
ОтветитьI want to get a lishi but which one would be the best for most door locks?
Ответить
