If Evolution is not launching, check if you running polkit (agent and client). Also Evolution needs GNOME desktop installed.
And, AFAIR, I also run GNOME keyring (Seahorse).

I use Thunderfox everywhere even in Windows. it's normal for a Firefox fan. ^v^
but I do also like Geary for some reason.

I use Thunderbird maybe for over 10 years now and it served me well. I just recently (this year) saw it can handle RSS feeds as a news reader as well. o.O So I use it as my news reader alongside the email functionality now. But all the other features are not interesting to me. Wish i could decouple them or deactivate. The only thing is, sometimes Thunderbird takes up a bit of RAM and I could not find a theme that fits into my Gruvbox system theme.
Maybe at some point I switch to another client, but there is not a whole lot of reasons for the hassle. When I reinstall my system, I just take my entire folder and reuse it.

What do you use to Sync your microphone to your video camera recording? Is it OBS with a delay setting?

I'll try Mailspring once they remove the glow-in-the-dark login.

I use Thunderbird and love it. The integrated email, calendar, and RSS reader is top notch. Won't try anything else.

I have used Evolution for quite a while and it is almost the equivalent of outlook so it will be very easy to migrate from a windows environment to Linux. If you run any Arch distro then you will get the very latest updates available

Latest Evolution client, on ubuntu 20.04 --> error wit the google API for contacts. Google changed it's API for the contacts. Up untill now I don't know of any patch for evolution to use a / the new google contacts API... So , to bad... no google contacts in that client. Sorry, evolution, down the bin... bummer

I wish thunderbird had a shared inbox so you didn't have to go to each accounts inbox.

I am completely lost currently about email account for my website, my host is hostinger basic vps plan that come with free domain name email account. I managed that vps via terminal under ubuntu 20.04 but i have no option to create email account since i don't have a panel in my plan and i d'ont want to install one to save resource and disk space. So can i use thunderbird instead to easily managed my emails? Or is there any easier solution in my case?

Thunderbird suddenly deleted all my email a few days ago, after using it for almost a year. This was after an update in Linux Mint. DON'T TRUST THUNDERBIRD!

I loved evolution. Then it just stopped for me as well. So I turned to trialling mailspring, thunderbird and betterbird. All of them are remarkably capable. Mailspring is slicker but I like Betterbird.
