So i bought a ps5 controller not a PS5 so it didn't come with a cable but I am using the USB in the video and all of the other videos but it turns orange and then turns off + it isn't even registering as a device

I followed the same exact steps, but my ps5 controller is inactive . I connected it at Bluetooth but when urs went purple ( so that meant that's connected ) mine did nothing . I got the notifications that's connected but it dienst work , neither can I connect it at steam
