What do you think about buying QQQ at a $300 level as a starting point?

Which world are you living in? A World which is flat? Buffet indicator considers USA GDP. Now tell me how many of the top 10 companies in QQQ are truly global companies? Also how much of their revenue comes from overseas? If you include the weighted percentage of these companies and account for the weighted GDP of the countries from which they make money the buffet indicators will show that they are undervalued! This reminds me of the story of the frog which lived in a well and thought this is the only world that exists. Broaden your thoughts as Einstein once said knowledge without imagination has no value! Also can you point to one investor who just did one lump sum at the peak and waited for 2016? Mostly people who had conviction DCA’ed and have made tons of money! Don’t cherry pick please!

Not gonna lie, I only looked up QQQ after significant tech crash now due to inflation and now these growth stocks are looking more like value stocks.

The Russia Ukraine War caused the crash and now it's rising again. Much better to invest in the fund at this point

how is the qqq ,a nasdaq etf have holdings in appl, amzn, ect when those are s&p 500 caps? i am super confused. I thought the markets were broken down by market cap? if i wanted amzn i could buy a voo.

I'm 25 and I make a lot of money at my job but I don't have time to analize stocks, I think I will invest 100€ spy and 100€ qqq every month and I will see where this goes, never sell until 2045 or so, also want sch dividend ETF and something in Europe just in case an asteroid destroys america or something, I'm no warren buffet, I just want some braindead safe returns

The top holdings in this ETF contain the biggest players in what would be the metaverse in a few years. I honestly don't see this ETF dipping for a decade like you have illustrated. This is a very tech heavy era we are living in and it will become even heavier in the next 10 years.

I had to watch the first 75% of your vid just to see your point about being a "bad investment"....
That would pretty much be true of EVERY stock......invest at the peak of the bubble and it takes years to recoup the losses. We do have a crash coming up soon......the smart ones invest in the bottom of the crash....win win.👍

Yes, if one invested QQQ near year 2000, he/she might lost a lot of money.

However, in year 2000, many (if not all) online companies were losing money. Most had no real profit for long time and could not make any profit anytime soon. Even Amazon, it was not profitable until 2001! Now, the top QQQ holding are all very profitable and healthy. The chance it would crash like year 2000 is very slim since they are the market leaders and very hard to be replaced in foreseeable future.

There is always risk in the investing anyway. However, I will take such low risk any day.

BTW, if all these top companies (Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia etc) go down, the US and the world economy will crash. There are very few places to hide.

I don't buy QQQ, I bought few TQQQ shares (higher risk and higher reward), few percentage of my portfolio. I prefer to buy individual stock.

I guess I am confused as you are focused on this one ETF but the Buffett Indicator applies to the the whole equity market. And so based on this reasoning, you will not be investing in any equities. Right? So why the focus on this ETF? Not sure I understand why you didn't speak of not investing in the market as a whole. Thanks

Great video. Just for fun, if you bought into QQQ the day you released this video today you would have made about 32% profit on it!

Hard af to navigate the market as a noob right now. I want to own all these stocks, and keep hearing from a ton of smart people that things are over valued, and they're probably 100% correct. Yet, since this video was made, this particular ETF has gone up by over 100 dollars a share. It's like, you either sit on your hands and get owned watching other people make gains, or you jump in and ignore the sage advice of those who have been there and done that in regards to over-valuation and very possibly get owned in the next year or so.

Thanks for the great presentation! If an investor invested systematically every month by spreading across the money for say 2 to 3 years seeing ups and downs of the market, the cost would have been averaged thereby reducing the potential loss and no need to time the market in this case. Your thoughts?

off course anything is " a terrible investment " if you buy it senselessly..I have found qqq to be a real cash cow using some very basic money management techniques. If you are long this etf you must realize , a mere " squiggle " ..a 30 per cent move up or down is the least that can happen anytime..And you must also allow for the fact that an index can make a high and never see that level again..Japan is a case in point

I have this etf in my individual and ira accounts. I’m not planning on touching it anytime soon and am reinvesting dividends I get from it. Me being 31 years old I have time on my side.
