Ive always made sure my vehicles are secure before i leave ever since i was on a road trip with my dog i stopped and got out for a bathroom break next to my truck and when the door closed he locked me out with my phone in the truck and it was still running i had to wave someone down borrow their phone to call my wife who was an hour away so she could call ama which was a two hour wait i was stuck outside in the winter at night alone waiting and freezing trying to get the dog to roll a window down which he did 5 minutes before the ama driver showed up

I've got round this problem by always putting a plastic bottle on each wheel before I get in my car - that way I know that any noise is from my bottles and not from a scammers bottle.
