Let’s just put this into context: Craig scored this the same as Angela Rippon’s Charleston 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s gotten to the point where if the three judges who are actually dancers are scoring one way and Craig is the minority… You can tell from how he walks on when the judges are announced at the beginning of each show: he cannot dance.

As a total novice, Ellie has become an absolutely amazing dancer.
I've watched Strickly from the beginning and never missed an episode. This performance was a 40.

Ellie Leach who finish in third place with her partner Vito Coppola danced to The Charleston like their favorite song, Love Machine. Remember the girl singing and dancing group from The Benny Hill Show in 1973-76? Well, that one was by Girls Aloud while Craig admitted she had the best cross swivel he had seen on the show, yet gave her nine points Fans were left impressed but it had the lowest dice game ever more than Layton. That girl was over the top.....SCD told us at the top of their dance but, He asked Layton, "At the point I'm starting to think that Craig will never get his 10 paddle out," another user penned on him and his pro......next to.....

Okay question: isn't there a 3 lift limit? What counts as a lift?

10 from me. Should have been 40. Don't understand why Craig let a tiny detail stop him from giving a 10. After all, it was 'wild' and slightly 'ugly' as he likes it even though he said it wasn't. What was he expecting from her upper body?! They offered something different to the usual Charleston, it had great storytelling and matched the music well. Also, she had "the best cross swivel [Craig's] ever seen in 19 years of the show" so 🤷‍♀️ The lifts were breathtaking. However, I don't think he dared give her a 10, after not having given Layton one! The backlash would have been deafening! (And rightly so as Layton's deserved a 10 as well).

I used to be mesmerized by Ellie and Vito's performances each week, and I still am, but I do now expect them to turn in a good performance every week. So, I do not get the all-important growth or 'journey" or transformation factor with them that I find so engaging in Annabel's or AnScan's performances, for instance. It could be a problem for them but there are only 3 more shows before the final and I think it will be tricky to knock them off course for the Glitterball now, given their scores and popularity.

For the first time I agree with Craig. It wasn’t expressive enough. Something was lacking . This dance you need energy top half of the body too. It wasn’t her best and it deserved a 9. I love them but overmarked a little.

Not the best routine, not enough authentic charleston, too much throwing Ellie about, I found it very disjointed

lifts good, bad swivel on the feet but that is because Ellie was put in flat shoes, never put your heel down when your doing a swivel in a Charleston, Ellie should have been is short heels to make it easier with her swivels but putting her in flat shoes exposes how she can't do the swivels.
I felt the speed of the dance was clunky, it was too slow at the beginning and then at the end it was too fast.
Ellie's posture was bad because she was leaning forward a lot when she should be straight lined in the back.
I did enjoy the lovely Dovey feel to the dance and I hope this couple makes it even further.

I mean, the trust Ellie has in the other dancers is off the scale that one lift upside down into 2 dancers and Vito just carries on, fantastic 👏 40 all the way

Brilliant dance from Ellie and Vito. Highlight of Saturdays show. It’s remarkable she only has I week to learn these new routines and she was totally in sync with Vito who is a machine. Absolutely fantastic. Get your 10 out Craig it totally deserved a 40.👏👏👏
