Thanks for the tutorial!!
ОтветитьPretty good. How could I modify the script to make a left handed thread ?? Maybe you can make it a configurable option ?
ОтветитьDamn, this was really handy now for me !
ОтветитьSuper!
ОтветитьThis is poorly done. Zero help as the software interface has changed. Even if it was relevant still it would be a bad video still as the video goes through the process way to quickly with ZERO explaination.
ОтветитьOk, this is outer, but how about inner threaded surface with a profile falloff?
Ответитьok for a person who is new into 3d design, how would i figure out how to get the dimensions of a smaller object that i have planned instead?
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial, very clear and concise. I have printed a few scaled to different sizes and the result is excellent.
Also the knurled pattern gives good grip and reduces the effect of layer lines.
For users of Blender 2.8 don't forget to tick the checkbox on the online script where you input the values.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I can't believe I can design my own screww cap! Subscribed!
ОтветитьYOU ARE MAGNIFICENT!!!! Thank you so much. My 3d prints from blender are saved. You masterful, magnificent, maniacally ingenious, man...... or woman.
ОтветитьHow can you select the upper and lower loops of the vertices in the second layer?
Ответитьhearing a AI voice tell me to delete the default cube is so hilarious for some reason.
ОтветитьIt would be nice if you can show us how to create a barrel cam with a helix cut in it to turn a rotating display. Thank you.
ОтветитьHaving trouble following this in Blender 2.83.1
(Edit) never mind got it sorted
Is there a 2.8 version for this anywhere ?
ОтветитьTrying this in Blender 2.8 but it seems the whole UI has changed. Anyone knows if there is a version of this video for 2.8? Can't seem to find one that uses their site calculator
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial
ОтветитьFortunately, Fusion360 exists
ОтветитьWow!!
ОтветитьHate the text-to-speech stuff... a LOT. Trust yourself, and do not put music over your voice.
ОтветитьSuch a nice thing of you to provide with the calculator and the tutorial, thank you a lot
ОтветитьI cant fine the single vert option so what do I do?
Ответитьis it working in 2.9?
Ответитьthis is a difficult tutorial for me
ОтветитьIt's a shame the Chinese Communist Party can't model human organs in Blender, that way they wouldn't need to keep murdering people to take theirs. Wait, who am I kidding? They'd be doing it regardless of whether or not there was a need.
ОтветитьOK... that's pretty badass, nice one.
ОтветитьUse bolt factory add on.
ОтветитьHi. Can make this an addon in blender?
Ответитьcould you post a link to that image? you could also store nugs in that container, that's what i assume was being said, then i realized they said "nuts"
Ответитьso dense, so consistently high quality, so practical and useful - ty
Ответитьamazing technique - well done!!!
ОтветитьYour tutorials are fantastic.
ОтветитьWhat a cool website!
ОтветитьSome tolls work differently in Blender 2.93.
ОтветитьThis is so wonderful, hope I can see more videos of industrial modeling.
ОтветитьThank you very much. it's difficult to know the tollerance. you have open a world to me.
Ответитьexcellent piece of work as usual.... will be starting this fun project soon.
Ответитьit would be so great if you'd make a simple blender plugin out of it tho..
Ответитьwooohooo!!!
Ответитьlosing the will to live at 6' 35'
ОтветитьGreat video well made good explaining.
Ответитьis there any other way to create a screw top in blender besides this video?? so many keys and shortcuts here dont even exist anymore
Ответить"remove doubles" is now "mesh->merge by distance." "Spin" is "mesh->extrude->spin." Blender key bindings change regularly so "Press W" is not very helpful (is now 'edge->bridge edge loops'.
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьYou know that you can just select an edge and press f (hold f) to fill out the rest of the faces in a row, right?
