Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp!!!!

This is really well made, and looking at these two side by side really shows how different these two are. Gene Wilder had such a calm gentle voice and demeanor, which covers up his insane nature, as opposed to Johnny Depp, who acts crazy to cover up how awkward he is. Depp is the more childish of the two, yet has much more muted colors than Wilder.

When I was a kid, the mother of a friend of mine (who was also my neigbour) gave me the DVD of the 2005 version as a present for my birthday.

She was so excited to watch the movie with us.

She grew up with the older movie and the book and loved them and she was so excited to watch the new movie.

It was really wholesome to see her so excited for the movie ^^

For me the johnny depp is better
