Is the differences between the first and last just being the length pronounced? I feel like the tone is the same just the timing is longer!

This is the worst language for a brazilian to learn... too difficult to tell the tones apart in a sentence.

My first language doesn't have tones. After two years of learning Chinese I can pronounce the tones correctly and I can tell the difference when I hear them, but I still make mistakes every once in a while, especially on tone pairs.

Burmese uses 3 tones, it has the tones 1,2,4. This made it much easier for me to learn. Thanks you!

I, as a non-chinese speaker, am always wondering how they contain the tones while singing. i mean, when you sing you bring melody to the words but doesn't that override the tones?

I can say all but the second one!! whenever I say it it sounds like the third - can someone help?
