An H1 or slightly modified Jeep can plow thru that harder and quicker than those silly looking cabs on oversized springs. Silly, not impressed one bit. Waiting for a spring to buckle on those clown cars.

the spinning discs are not connection points for another axel they are brakes, centrally mounted disc brakes, the tires are to heavy and would smoke hydraulic disc brakes so the are more focused on stopping the drive train versus the wheel and tire, air brakes would be able to take the abuse of the tire weight but not the off reading conditions (nlmud and water derbis) so this is a suitable compromise.

How do they make those huge spacers under the coils? Is that stuff welded onto the axle then a coil mount is made? I've only seen it done with leafs

I do have a question,is there a point to this ? Are you "collecting" points in a club? Or you just out having fun,I must say I sort of like this slow crawl more than the vids where guys are goin nuts in mud,but as a driver I know that's got to be pretty damned fun too,I grew up four wheelin in the Sierra Nevada mountains,places like the Rubicon and fordyce are literally a hour away max.Georgetown side of the rubicon is just a 20 minute drive and that includes beer breaks....most fun I ever had on mud though was while wheel packin in my old hobby stock ( street stock ) high banked dirt track smaller then most short 1/4 mile tracks,go around the track dead sideways,nose pointed at the wall,then as it would come in,you stand on it in front of the grand stands and shoot wet nasty mud into the stands...hehe
