MonHun is one of the main reason why I was able to survive Dark Souls when it came out.

lol "...the hunts are fair..." except for the fact that monster attack hitboxes will connect when you're no where near them, yet the hunter attack hitboxes have to connect with nearly pixel perfect accuracy

At least 90% of the monsters in monster hunter arent coded to read inputs and nail you from 100 yards when you try to heal. LOOKING AT YOU, ELDEN RING!

I dont think monsters heal, they regenerate stamina.

I love when someone loves so much something it's able to make other people engaged, despite their knowledge in the subject.

this video just helped me realize how much i trivialize monster hunter with my ridiculous builds that focus on life style changes like faster sharpening faster potion eating plus health regen on hit and over time with max defense and free meal and full stun negation

I get what you're saying about sending the difficulty so risking a hill and all monster hunter games but the flex is on the level of other m lava stage it makes no goddamn sense in your in danger.

Greatsword in Monster Hunter is basically "you will never hit anything. but when you DO, it will HURT and feel awesome. so as soon as you for ONCE hit that monster, instead of being knocked around like a rag doll trying, he will take huge damage and likely be knocked down for free hits"

Monster Hunter has become one of my favorite games since playing and getting hooked to Monster Hunter World. I know some complain about it but it got me hooked. Hell I bought a Switch OLED just to play Monster Hunter Rise and also Zelda Breath of the wild. I’m still getting use to Rise and how the new mechanics work. I am having fun and I like that even when I join up with random people I’m still able to beat the hardest monsters. Obviously not all the time but a lot of the time I can. I don’t have a group of people to play with so it’s great that it is possible.

If I need to convince someone into trying MH, im gonna recommend this vid. You encapsulate everything I want to tell someone to get them intrigued about the franchise summarized in 10 minutes

I love arena fights where there's constant pressure making all your decisions much less of "I'll run out and run back in when I'm ready again" and more of "there it is, this is when I whetstone ao I don't get hit by the monster" that is unless you chose to bring a farcaster in which you have to decide when it is the right time to use it as you might need it later when you truly need it or spend it now when you can use it

Eeeeeh, I personally have the later feeling againsts a type of monsters I call "you can't touch me lol", and against Khezu, because it's Khezu...

MH truly is a special game. It's my very favorite besides X-Wing and TIE Fighter. Great vid man

Ok, there is one unique problem in the new games, the village are too easy, before, or less Tri, the battles are really tough, preparing yourself for the rest of the game, now the village is easier than any Kirby game, now is not preparing, is make the monsters trash as you stronger, and when you are in Online, you are not ready for the challenge.

and then W:IB alatreon came around and showed us the pure suffering of what an undodgable one shot attack that you don't really get told how to weaken is

This game...seems...quite...promosing.

This is a great video but i couldnt help but notice that you used dragon weapons on Silverlos and Valstrax, both are immune to dragon

I don't know man, there are definitely hunts where I am saying," Glad that shit's over." cough Khezu cough

... as someone whose done more hunts than he should have... A perfect hunt uses 1-2 mega demon drugs (attack up) and that's it... Maybe whetstones but those are free now. And no hp pots consumed....


As someone whose hunted pickles with rusted blades and my underwear.
Beds are your best friend and take shifts hunting. Never over extend yourself and cost the group a truely valueable resource.

And my last tip. Yes there's undodgeable moves... The game randomly and without exception will take the piss out of you just because it can... Oh random stun lock out of a paralyze from a khezu off screen? Well gg you're dead thanks for hunting.. yes they're all dodgeable. But sometimes rng just laughs at the one mistake you make and ya just gotta roll with it... Even if ya fail you can easily go back in with renewed resources a better meal maybe and hunt with some pissed off energy to make it go faster.


Idk I like swinging the big sword for big numbers... Other than that monsters go brrrr

Watching this really made me miss the many great and fun mons from XX. Also the visual effect when you land attacks on their weak areas was so damn satisfying

U can finish the game even with mid tier armor, just more difficult but it will still be enjoyable.
That explains why I love mh
