Following the obviously One and Only template for such movies: soon to be king falls in love with an (always) American girl, but mother the widowed queen is a snob and wants to drive them apart. She already has another candidate. Then everything falls apart and miraculously all gain insight right after that. The queen admits to her feelings for her male confident and everything turns sugar sweet. Watched the whole thing just to check if it followed the template to the t. Yes, it does.
That said, when the queen remarked: "You don't know what it takes to be royal," I replied: "Being a bitch?!" Always accurate as well.
