that sony cannon joke didnt age well i guess 😂
ОтветитьWhich googles would you recommend in 2023? For aggressive flying. I've looked at couple of digital options but I'm thinking of HDO 2.1. Is it still worth it? Or the quality of digital outweighs the latency issue?
Trying to get into fpv
I came to learn a hobby I fell in love with before I ever flew and I stay for the honest great quality information and fun content you taught me how to fly and I love it more and more everytime I grab my bag and find a new spot to fly till I get kicked out or run out of batteries haha ❤️🧡💛
ОтветитьI've said for years fatshark could and needs to make it so there is a lens infront of the adjustment lenses they could do it for what we pay.... and it wouldn't be hard to do
ОтветитьTBS Fusion can live stream.
ОтветитьDo they actually have diopter inserts ? Because I can’t find where to purchase or is it just “potential “ ps love the pb and J props
ОтветитьSei un GRANDE!
ОтветитьThis is why I bought the hdo2.... DJI BLOWS GEOFENCING AND SUPPORTING COMMUNIST nope not for me.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU! Awesome video. Details and depth. 💯🏆
ОтветитьFuck the numérique... I'm love analogique ❤️
ОтветитьI like small FOV. A lot of professional gamers prefer a smaller FOV as well and use a smaller monitor/tv screen to play.
ОтветитьIf you can, you should try the Skyzone sky04x, they seem great
ОтветитьYeah fov wise I'm used to tiny. I haven't measured it but it feels like maybe 20°. On one side it feels more like a screen and I get less motion sick but on the other side I feel like the purpose of fpv goggles is feeling that you are inside the drone or RC car you are operating which small fov's kinda forbid. I just have a super cheap 72channel 5.8ghz Eachine EV100. Got it on sale for like $80 but at least it's light, small and it does its job well enough for a beginner
ОтветитьWait, I'm new to this whole fpv market but what is the difference between analogue and digital? One with direct video transmission and the other with compression so higher resolutions can be transferred (my guess on digital)
ОтветитьI just got the new Orqas. Coming from the 30deg field of view of the Fat Shark Attitude V5, 37deg looks huge, LOL. So very happy about my purchase, great image quality and the DVR footage is so much better.
ОтветитьDon't get either! The correct answer is to get the DJI FPV Goggles and a Analog patch antenna, along with a patch antenna adaptor, and simple WIRE the analog adaptor into the analog-in on the DJI Goggles. Get the analog adaptor that hangs off the side so you can still install better antenna's on the front of the DJI Goggles.
That way you have your Analog AND Digital in one set of goggles for around $650 or so. Every other solution is an overpriced joke.
Is my Taranis still relevant. I've had it forever and love it. I suck at flying but still love it. I took some time off out of frustration but just couldn't get rid of any of my stuff. I don't really want to buy a bunch of your stuff cuz I do suck LOL
Ответитьyoo that head strap is for an alien or somethin lol
Ответитьsomeone finaly inclded an actual decent dvr? tats been m main complant so far. quanum cclops dvr was almost usless, tried an external dvr. eachine dvr. it was usable but quality was nothing like what the goggle screen was like.
got eachine ev200ds, dvr was worse , over sharp. tried external dvr that i used on quanums, oversharp aswell.
heard other goggles dvrs wernt great.
i dont think its so much frame rate. its more the image quality. something about how the video is processed going to dvr and how the video is being encoded into a digital.
24fps vs 50/60 has ts own feel. not sure im keen on high framerate.
Hdzero is making their own set of goggles now, but again they want to reduce the fov which is just not a good idea in my opinion. I guess it's a supply issue where the best available screens are just smaller this generation.
Shame, really, I was expecting large fov for next gen, not freaking smaller...
😑 Promo`SM!
ОтветитьTotally agree with the description. HD will probably be worth the switch in 5 years unless something massive happens before then. Until then, analog is king.
ОтветитьGet the Original ORQA.. they have 44 Degrees FOV. Loving them
ОтветитьGood info! thx man
ОтветитьHey Mr steele and fov on the hdo2s is actually 46 not 43 so it's a 9 degree diffenrec which is even bigger. Reason why I'm sticking with my hdo2s
ОтветитьHow much do you want for them?
ОтветитьReally wish the fatshark had an adjustable fov in software. Reducing fov should be no issue.
Ответитьthanks for another super honest critical review!
ОтветитьGlad to see Steele is down to earth enough to buy the new gear and honestly review it.
Also Glad I'm not the only one clinging to my HDO 2's. Thanks Greg French. Thank you Steele.
If it’s ONLY field of view that is the deal breaker. Can I ask what was wrong with their V1’s ?
Better DVR than HDO2’s, too. (IIRC).
For me, I didn’t like the ‘barrel’ optics on the V1’s. Kind of felt like I was staring out of a ship window. Sounds like this could still be an issue in the V2’s.
I don't know the specs on my old googles but there the Fatshark dominator V3, are these new googles from Orqa more or less FOV? anyone know?
ОтветитьIts tough. Coming from the racing sector, FOV is a double edged sword. Beyond the obvious latency issue with DJI, there is just too much to look at. When you are rocketing gates at 60-80mph+, everything outside nearly the exact point your eye is focused on, is just a blur and arguably a waste. I have flown HDO2's for the last ~2yrs or so racing all over the country, and was skeptical buying these new Orqa's. I did however buy them, and while the FOV reduction did kind of bother me a little bit for 1-2 packs, the increased video quality (I know increasing analog quality is kind of polishing dirt, but hey), and the other feature set of the goggles has sold me. I won't sell my HDO2's as they are still going to be awesome backup goggles, but won't be my primary racer anymore.
So with nearly the entire freestyle community screaming more FOV, the racing community saying leave it or even reduce it, what is a goggle manufacturer supposed to do?
If you paid for these with your own money, then why did you buy them if you're unhappy with them? I find it hard to believe you of all people didn't have access to a pair of these to try before you buy.
Ответить569$ is way overpriced for the specs..
ОтветитьHello sir plz reply big fun
ОтветитьYeah the fov is a deal breaker. The HDO2's are 42° in 16:9 and 46° in 4:3.
ОтветитьDunno why Sony don’t enter the goggle game… They seem to make the OLEDs for the majority of the market and judging by their TV & consumer electronics line up they know how important things like FOV & tech is to consumers.
ОтветитьThank you for your honesty
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me what neoprene foam he uses for his goggles? Forgive me if this is posted somewhere, I couldn't find it in his shop or product links. I just bough some aftermarket foam for the HDO2s but its not quite right still.
ОтветитьFOV is a dealkiller for me.I stay with to OG Orqa
Ответить"social events are less fun with digital. Period."
ОтветитьAlways love watching you talking to the camera. Such a natural bro
ОтветитьMan. You need to come to Croatia to try our air!
ОтветитьStill rocking dom v2. But I now use my DJI to fly my whoops so that FOV is really hard to beat. 😅
ОтветитьI'm using 50deg HD2 thanks to younger Mr.Steele's videos :)
ОтветитьHonest review.
ОтветитьThe Orga Goggles look good. The 600+ Dollar's seems a bit pricey; I had to have a Double Cataract Surgery Done I can see somewhat in 3D (20 Left / 19 Right) Vision. SO I'm looking for Goggles that might be able to somewhat Correct Draw my One eye back so that I no longer have 3D Vision. IF THATS POSSIBLE. I'm also interested more or less, in a sort of 3D Reality, in Goggle.
ОтветитьGreat review! You talked about every aspect i was consideng! Thanks!
