Type 1 vs. Type 2 Hypervisors: What's the Difference?

I use type 2, mainly becuase thats the only thing ive tried and seem very easy. Typ 1 seems very interesting tho. Would be pretty sweet to have a little more permanent vm setup.

I Am developer but this is so interesting. I am starting with hypervisor type 2 with virtual box and kali Linux as the OS.
