I've been, just design for myself and friends., And just doing it as a hobby,
But definitely, wanted to go to school..

"CAD" is software It stands for Computer Aided Design and usually refers to drafting software packages like Fusion 360, AutoCAD or ProE. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are two key bits of Software used for renderings and flats.

This is the issue .... it is expensive Depending on where you go and whether or not it's a program versus an accredited college I've seen a lot of crazy expensive programs that were offered at for profits but Usually a college that offers a degree is not that expensive

do you have to sew or can you just design the outfits and send them to seamstresses?

Arielle, is there a difference between fashion design and costume design? I would like to learn how to make costumes but I don't know if by choosing costume design I would be opting for something less demanding in the mastery of sewing techniques.
