Delete thousands of useless emails with this one simple trick

Hi, Lucas -- I just discovered your video series this morning -- looks amazing! Lots of things for me to watch and learn from about my Macbook Pro. One thing I have had endless troubles with, and have not been able to find a solution for, is deleting emails from my inbox. They just keep popping back up!!! SO FRUSTRATING and I now have over 8000 in my inbox!!! Do you have a video specifically about how to rectify this problem? I'd really appreciate your help!! Sincerely, A Poor Manitoba Teacher :)

What you show is only a very small segment of deleting emails. Bulk deleting and how to delete "all", for example emails from Gmail in "Promotions! For example someone could have 70,000 gmails in Promotion. Sometimes those emails, when performing a Bulk Delete, the gmails seem to be stuck in the Promotions folder and thus even properly performing Bulk delete, only 4.200 of 70,000 may delete and thus leaving a huge amount of 65,800 undeleted gmails?

20 years ago you delete yahoo emails. by date do this without help. FU Yahoo.

There is a way easier way just click your mailbox click the very top left of the first email like you’re gonna highlight the and just flick downwards while holding down your click it highlights everything in the box right click and hit delete

I have 89,850 emails from Facebook alone on my mac. I tried deleting them as group but it took over an hour to 'move' 20,000 of them from email to ....wherever. I know from past experience the Trash cannot hold too many items at once and I'm pretty sure 90,000 emails will overwhelm it. I have 147,000 total emails in my system and want to get rid of the majority of them. Unfortunately I have client conversations I want to retain so I can't simply wipe it clean. Any suggestions?

If your inbox is out of control and you are positive you have read all of your emails that matter, then create a new smart mail box, set condition as message is unread, and click OK. Batch delete as in the video. Then delete the smart mailbox you just created.
