This song was written for me!! Every last word of it! For me, it starts with "When I thought I lost me ...." (I knew He was supposed to be there but for 40+ years (dealing with the pain of abuse) all I could do was blindly reach for Him in the dark). Then it goes to the verses, (verse 3 - He knew where my heart could seek to find His truth, then verses 1 & 2 - He went to win my war (He was working quietly behind the scenes)) and then, when He came to the forefront and He "reintroduced me to His love", I realized it was because "All I did was praise ...." because I had never stopped seeking Him and His help and comfort. This song reduces me to a pile of tears ... tears of release, tears of gratitude and thankfulness ... EVERY SINGLE TIME!! All I can say is ... Thank you for writing this song!

I love this song so much. It met me in a time where I was still healing from old wounds and trying to forgive past enemies. Enemies that were nowhere near me anymore, but the pain they had caused was ever present. "When I thought I lost me, You knew where I left me. You reintroduced me to Your love.
