so a couple things to make this work in mine craft 1.20.1 .... the bees need more room or they wont come out of the hive... so extend the glass block one out so that there are now 2 grass block rows in front of the hive row. because of this change the dispenser will spit the honey bottle out farther... onto the 2nd row of grass block so you need to put the minecart system under that row of grass block. also i used glass instead of cobble stone slabs on the back. that seemed to work better for some reason, idk

this system is not working in 1.20.1

in bed rock they changed it to, the bees cant come out of the hive if there is a flower blocking the doorway to the bee nest or hive

Since the new update with the cherry blossom biome, bee hives are more likely to spawn there too! I found two bee hives in the cherry biome I spawned near, and I gotta say, the bees really do add to the look of the biome!

So I wanted to try the easy dispenser with the leveler. so I can walk around my bees and harvest them one by one, but it isnt working in my game, eventhough the kive is full of honey. Does anyoneone know what could be the problem?

the minecart part doesn't work. honey bottles spawn in the dispensers but that's it. the minecart doesnt pick them up and sometimes breaks

I've put bottles in every slot of the dispenser, but the honey isn't getting collected. Only the shears are working. Any ideas? Do i have to break redstone and replace it every time I want to collect?

I'm on bedrock but my bee's don't come out and I know they are in the bee hives, any suggestions? Super easy other than my bee issue. I built it kind of close to my Blaze spawner so I could rack up blaze rods and hopefully bees =)

How to not anger the bees? Just know how to beehive respectfully around them and you'll bee fine.

this didn't work for me on bedrock 1.20, the bees never left the hives.
I extended the space in front of the beehives and the dispenser by 1 and moved the flower too and now the bees leave the hives.
The dispenser wasn't working either, but that was fixed by simply removing the redstone and placing it again.

if you're making a farm with several beehives, do you need to pacifiy them seperatly?

Wait, couldn't you extend the width of that farm to add a lot of crops in the middle? That would reduce the efficiency of the bee farm, but increase the efficiency of the crops by a lot.
