💡 Wall Outlet to Wall Outlet -> ONLY
🚫Do Not run this through a surge protector, extension cord, etc. It has to be plugged in directly to the wall outlet and it will cover up the entire outlet. That’s why the P2000 comes with an outlet built in. It works decent, but when you can’t have a WiFi signal, this is a good to great option.
*The higher your internet bandwidth limitations, the better this will work for you. I have 3 of these connected in my house to dedicate them to TV’s and workstations. I’m paying for 1200gb ⬇️& 40 ⬆️ through Xfinity.
•My actuals for Direct Connections to my Router are 800-1000gbps ⬇️ & 40 ⬆️ …
•My actuals for Powerlines are 75mbps-500mbps all depending on how close of a connection the extension outlets are to my upstairs main connection.
My WiFi is good, but this ended up being a great solution for areas I wanted a more stable connection as I am in a neighborhood that’s layered thick with WiFi connections.
**I have (2) Powerline 2000’s & (1) Powerline 1010 WiFi Extender
Can i buy a total of 4 of these ? But naturally I assume only one out of the 4 needs to be connected to the modem?
I want to use the other 3 in differnet areas of the house
Is this possible with more that 1 pair.
Am I able to use a powerline adapter without a Ethernet cable
ОтветитьI completely forgot about my satellite netgear device. Saved me some money! Thank you!
ОтветитьGrabbing one of these because my usb wifi dongle is not cutting it 🤣
ОтветитьYou should not connect Powerline adapters to UPS, they can filter out the signal afaik, that might explain the amber led you have.
ОтветитьCan i use 2 different brand and make them work ?
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure the adapter needs to be plugged into a wall outlet and not into a surge protector. I may be wrong though... (this may be why your signal isn't so good.)
Ответитьi use one to get internet out to my garage which i converted into kind of into my ultimate gaming room lol. 100 meters of distance between the router and there and i get the full 70-80mbps of internet i pay for so im happy with it
ОтветитьI used one of these at work. 😂 I didn't feel like making a wireless bridge. 😂 Cuz I had this hanging around great for a printer
ОтветитьThanks Tim x
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if powerline adapters are compatible with AT@T gateways/modems? We have one and the range and performance are abysmal....😭
ОтветитьWorthless ad, not even some speed tests
ОтветитьMany thanks to solaredge and enphase microinverters, which are using powerline as well
You may have lower speed, higher latency, lower quality powerline because of solaredge or enphase microinverters
No you cannot do much about this, as it may be your neighbour, who have those
I use a pair of PowerLine adapters to connect my computer to a wired network outlet in another room, mainly due to my room being a deadzone for our WiFi network. This all started when latency for Planetside 2 was getting too much.
ОтветитьThese can work very well and I've used them for years. To help eliminate interference, plug devices like wall-wart type power supplies into a surge suppressing power strip. The Powerline Adapters need to be plugged directly into the wall. Your other devices like laptop power adapters, etc. can cause interference and reduced performance plug into surge suppressing power strips.
ОтветитьI had some in a few places. Mostly they work excellent, but latency is a little high. One house must have had weird wiring cos the speed was about 1/5 what it should have been between upstairs and downstairs. But they're pretty cool over all, had years of reliability from them.
ОтветитьMove to England, our electrical system is b I g g e r and it works great even brilliant. Do I sound smug enough?😊
Bob
England
weee look how little subs. here let me help you add 1 more. God speed to 1 mil
ОтветитьDid you have your receiver plugged into an extension? You get bad speeds like that, put it straight into the wall and you get the best speed, I learnt that the hard way
ОтветитьMoca works faster as good as Ethernet
ОтветитьAre you trying to look and act like "Tim Pool"?
ОтветитьYes, it works, I have one too.
ОтветитьI rather have 5ghz repeater with 5 antennas without cable
Ответитьgood video!:D
