E-sport pros are good to milk the physics from a game/sim, but are usually sht judges about how realistic it is. Stick with real drivers trying sims... still distorted (if the lad is not acquainted with the virtual, as older drivers), but is fine.

Thanks Mike. Personally, I think they're doing all the right things. I work in software in an industrial setting and we look to customers from the off to guide direction. You've put together a video which clarifies details, which I'm sure, lots of us were looking for. Well done.

E-sports pro's= Those who cannot get laid. Sounds like another snob fest to me.

Considering that it's not even an alpha build it shows a ton of promise with pretty much everyone there saying it felt good so far.

Looks like a well held event and early signs are promising. This will hopefully spur other developers on too to really push hard in their work and create the very best sims they can.

Hey Mike, I think the reason your channel does well is you are active, consistent, make easy to watch videos and seem like a genuinely good guy, which comes through and keeps me coming back.

Despite claims that they are no NFT, I'll still wait for a release. I'd like people to remember two specific games: No Man's Sky and Star Citizen. I don't trust their alpha demos either. Anything can change during alpha stage. There's a ton of historic evidence of game companies claiming something is/isn't in the game then you get surprised when it's the opposite of what you're told.

I notest that you did not use the F-word by repeating what the game director said about the NFT. But just to clarify. Europeans where english are not the first spoken countries. We use 'fuck' alot. even in children's shows. listening to 1-3 grade kids in a danish school would be like a episode of South Park. Good video, keep up the good work. :)

I don't know if taking esports pros as your most important focus group is good for a sim. It's a particular set of individuals that made a living out of exploiting the hell out of simulators' inadequacies. Which can be good, if they're willing to point them out, or bad if they want them to be propagated to retain their competitive edge. Or random, if they don't even know that they're exploiting them, because they don't have comparison to real motorsports.

I think mixing them out with actual motorsport pros and wage their opinions against each other would be better. You mention David Perel, but that's just one guy. Skewing the focus of the game towards esports instead of simulating real life motorsport can end up with another iRacing - great online platform, but flawed simulator.

Looks and sounds promising, but I wonder what the recommended hardware specifications will be? ACC with Unreal 4 engine is already very demanding and I assume Unreal 5 engine is even more.

Is it going to have Ai or purely MP esport aimed?

Regarding the feedback and and how this event was handled. This is how the old DiRTRally team at Codemasters used to do things, in a smaller form. It’s a shame that team no longer exists. Also this is great to see other devs rise up and compete with the EA/CM behemoth that it has become.

Campaign? AI in multiplayer? I really want this!!!!! I may be in the minority for this but I don't care it is something I love in racing games! If only online PvP then I have no interest but that is just my opinion. I know many love that since traffic in AC has even taken off. Them only inviting 3/4 of esport pro racers also speaks to what they want the game to be. A sim yes but a sim for only racing others... REALLY HOPE FOR MODS AS WELL. Keeps games alive when developers quit working on it or miss spots players want.

Looks like they're trying to hype up the product for sponsors and car manufacturers (cause of licencing etc). I'd love to try it myself regardless, the more sims the better so I still hope it will work out for them.

Quality VR support is a must for me.

Maybe this is THE sim. Taking the best parts of other sims in one game. One can dream. Let see how this turns out.
